Superb wide angle option for Fuji. Compact and lightweight. Stellar image quality. Addresses the only minor shortcomings of the original version by adding "WR" and a marked aperture ring. Lens performs extremely well at the widest wide open end which is logical and appreciated.
I enjoyed the original version of this lens. The only things I did not like about the original were its lack of weather sealing and the unmarked aperture ring. The new version addresses both features making this my favorite wide angle zoom for Fuji. The image quality is as good or better than the original but there was really no issue there before. The lens is sharpest at the wide end which is wonderful considering that this is where most users will shoot it most of the time.
