My son loves to take these. He calls them his purple pill. He is growing and going through various stages of eating. This is, of course, causing problems with his digestive system. I have noticed a change since he began taking these. Nothing harsh, which is the opposite of what I want. He doesn't complain about his tummy as much, and his potty issues are not as extreme as they used to be. I am very impressed with the ingredients and that each pill is sealed in a foil pack. We love this product! But we hate that it is never in stock at Walmart. We can only find the powder to mix in liquid. My child won't take that. I wish it were easier to find the chewable tablets in the stores!
I received a free box of Culturelle® Kids Chewables Daily Probiotic Formula. My two boys ages 7 and 4 enjoyed taking them daily. My daughter who is 9 did not like the taste and only tolerated the sample. She would have preferred a gummy version. She does not like chewing pills. My sons were disappointed when we ran out. They did not complain of belly aches during the sampling time. Overall two out of my three children felt these were good vitamins to take. It also was good for their digestive system. Our little girl suffers with excessive gas bloating and her pediatrician recommended a daily probiotic. This is sweetened with xylitol which is better than sugar for teeth. She likes the taste fine and it has helped to prevent the gas. The reason for only two stars is because it's more than any other brand.
I had three of my kiddo's ranging in age from two 15's to one 9 year old. I am pretty lucky that they aren't very picky and they'll try anything at least once. So the two older ones ( boy / girl ) did not like the taste. The boy has occasional belly problems but he said it was worth not taking these Chewables on a daily basis because of the chalky taste and gritty texture. My girl just said uck, no, nope so I can't really give her point of view. The youngest boy tried it, made a screwy face, gave me a half thumbs up with a shoulder shrug. He verbally said it was okay but it had a weird taste and the texture was different. I did give the Chewable to him for a few weeks and he said that it was easier to poo and less belly aches. Allergy labeling is all over the place- on the back of the package it states allergy friendly free from peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, wheat. Side of the package it says dairy, gluten, soy free. Website says dairy, what eat, soy free. So which is it?
