We really like the trackpad on our MacBook Pro laptops, so when we got a new iMac and it only came with a mouse, we decided to get this trackpad. Walmart had it for the same price as everybody else, and with fast delivery. We love the trackpad! We use it all the time, and we highly recommend it!
The Magic Trackpad 2 is a perfect addition to my home office set up! I've always been a user that likes to use the Mac's embedded trackpad for everything, but this has been really helpful to increase the ergonomics of my setup when combined with the wireless keyboard. Definitely worth the money! (And it came really quickly - on a Sunday!)
This device is awesome, so easy to use. I went on YouTube, and watch a video that explains the functionality. It helped a lot!
Functions like the old trackpad 1. Will have to use it for awhile to see if I like the rechargeable battery. After years of use, trackpad 1 was getting stuck in the down click position. Trackpad 2 is supposed to eliminate the mechanical clicking mechanism with pressure sensors.
Pricey but that's Apple. Product was perfect
I love my track. its probably the one of the best things I've ordered online. its easy to use and the best part is that it not only connects with Macintosh and all iPads, it even connects with android and anything that is bluetooth compatible. with this trackpad you are getting something that is apple quality and that will work on most apple, android devices and windows computers
I've been wanting to invest in one of these for awhile and finally decided to do it. If you like using the trackpad on MacBooks, then this trackpad will live up to your expectations. I am using it for an office setup along with a wireless keyboard. Using your finger instead of moving your entire hand to move the mouse arrow is so much easier. To me, it's worth the $100 investment.
Walmart price was best for an "only game in Apple town" track pad. Came quickly and well packaged. Magic Trackpad 2 poses a learning curve from the older version which needed repair after about 10 years use. Apple requires us to retrain every couple of years, whether we need to or not, but there are rewards.
This is not the latest "Apple Magic Trackpad". They removed the number at the end after the "2" model that I purchased. I was told the newest trackpad feels cheaper. This one has a more difficult click than the original battery-operated Magic Trackpad I had for years, but it's larger, rechargable and generally a nicer product than the original. Can't compare it to the new one since I never have tried that unit. I do recommend it, though, although I am sick of Apple and giving them tons of money for each of their products. But I'm stuck with the Apple "lifestyle" since all my products are Apple and have been since the Eighties.
I bought a new item but received a used one (the trackpad had been named by the previous owner). It's in good shape, but not new, and didn't include the black charging cable a new one would have come with. It works, but feeling deceived.
