In other reviews for these types of bags, they tell me that this size of notebook or laptop has problems fitting into the backpacks. This one does not have this issue. My new ASUS 17.3" display notebook fits fine in either large sections. Also there are plenty of "pockets" to store things like the charger, USB hub, and even a rather large, longer range, external USB network adapter. I have another "bag" for my 15" laptop that does not have as many pockets or room to fit all of my "do-dads" and room for my needed "work folders" . This one has enough room in the front pocket for a thick 3-ring binder, letter sized notepads, etc. along with the notebook. As I say, works great.
