I have been using this hard drive dock for a few weeks and it has been working well using multiple SATA hard drives. The hard drive dock comes in a box the size of video game controller. The power adaptor included comes with several different ends to connect it in many different countries. The doc includes cables for USB-A, USB-C and eSATA but they are all very short. I was not able to put the dock on top of my desk because all of the cables are too short to reach the computer under my desk. Currently the dock sits on the floor until I get a longer cable to connect it. The dock has a power button/light which is blue with power and flashes red during disk activity. Hard drives slide in to the dock easily but don't "click" in like other docks I have used. The dock has a USB-B 3.1 connector on the back which you can use with either the USB-A or USB-C cables. I found that when using the USB-C cable I was getting mixed results with the computer. After changing drives in the dock the drives would sometimes freeze or lock up during read or write operations. When I used the included USB-A cable, I had no problems with this dock at all. This hard drive dock works well and data transfers maintain fast stable speeds. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
