I also used to just slam the whole thing and absolutely gag - it's like drinking Nyquil. Then my sister told me she pours it in a glass then tops it off with seltzer water and she absolutely loves them!!! Genius. I've been mixing with LaCroix flavored carbonated water and it's now much easier to take though I still can't say I "love" them. Grape is still sort of icky, watermelon is better, and acai berry is the best. I know of no other way to get at least 80 grams of protein in a day w/o struggling. I do one in the morning and one at night if I haven't gotten enough through food. I had a gastric bypass so this is the best way I've found to get all that protein I need. They say to get 40g+ but that's NOT enough. I shoot for 100g a day. I'm so glad I discovered this!
?This is a great product you can put right into your water bottle to help fill up your protein for the day for those who have had lapband and bypass surgerys.
I needed a high protein liquid and this worked well
Not much to say. I am a body builder and this is an easy way to make sure I keep a surplus of protein in my system at all times to build muscle. It tastes great and gets you the protein you need quickly.
I'm a disabled person and I use New Whey Liquid Protein becuase it is the highest percentage of protein in the lowest volume avalible. It helps maintan my weight. helps maintain my skin integrity. High protein helps heal wounds faster! Plus I don't need to drink a massive milkshake to reap the maximum beifits from protein. I would recommend New Whey Liquid Protein to anyone who wants to bulk up or build muscle tissue. I would think New Whey Liquid Protein would be a great addtional source of protein for anybody who is struggling to put on or maintain wieght, for the elderly as well.
Use over ice or in a fruit smoothie. Great shot of protein!
I like the 26 g shots better so I divide these 42 g into two servings during the day. It is a tad bit sweet but not unpleasant. The tubes make it easily portable wherever you are going. Reasonably priced.
A little expensive, but good
I bought this for my girlfriend who has used the original Body Fortress fruit punch protein drink for years. That version became harder to find the past several months, and then we realized it was being discontinued and replaced by this version. The good news is the 42g of protein in this version vs the 26g in the older version. The new version also has more ounces per serving container than the original. On the other hand, this version does not taste nearly as good as the original, according to her. And it costs about $4 more than the original, which is more per ounce than before. We'll probably keep using this new version because she doesn't like any of the whey powders, but the powders are probably more economical than this new size and price.
AWFUL TASTING. thought I could just chug it down. but gaggy. gave it away to someone who doesn't care about the taste. and is brave enough to chug. ugh!!!!!!!!!
