I bought this to replace the providers equipment. Every time service would go out, my security cameras and door bell would not reconnect. Also had dead spots in the house with no WiFi. Since installing the Orbi system I have much better connection speeds. I stream TV on up to 4 TV's plus use laptops, iPads, and iPhones with NO problems. This is a great system.

Fantastic

The Orbi was extremely easy to set up! We bought this product to help with internet connection in our basement. No glitching or issues with playing video games or streaming videos. I love being able to see who is connected to the internet and having the ability to turn it off from my phone. We used to rent from the cable company, but after buying the orbi I will never rent again. 100% worth buying!

The best value for money

The Built-in Cable Modem (CBK40) delivers speed, range, and ease of use as promised by NETGEAR. I'm so happy with it that I have recommended it to all my friends within my first three days of using it. I love that I can access my Orbi remotely while on-the-go through its dedicated mobile application. Within the app., I love that I can log into my account and do a speed test, view my list of connected devices (including Google-powered devices and smarts lights), view my WIFI and router settings, and monitor my traffic (data) meter.

Orbi solved our problem

Using the satellite Orbi at theater end of the house has made all the difference in the world. No more losing the internet. Works great and looks great. I would highly recommend this system if you are having weak signals in any other room of your house.

Working Great For Me!

So far its been great! Very stable and great speeds. Replacing a Motorola MG7700 modem/router which I can never get going with optimum. Hopefully this will be the last modem/router that I will have to buy for the next 5 plus years.

Very very fast. No I mean really fast

So it's been a year and I could not be happier. Leaving a home on a large lot and only the furthest parts of my yard have no wifi. My 16 devices are always ready to work. Anxious to see if my next home with 2 stories instead of 1 will still have the coverage I am in love with. You get what you pay for. This was an expensive option but since there are 2 of us working from home it gives great return on investment.

I need help with my wifi

I am looking to purchase a wifi extender for our home (Australia). I'm very confused by what I should be purchasing. We have a very large house - most of which is single story. The main computer and telco supplied router is upstairs. At present we can't get any wifi at the end of the downstairs area and most of the areas downstairs are very slow. The house floor size is 371square metres.

Is Orbi an Improvement over Nighthawk AC1000 n EXT

I'm not seeing an advantage over Nighthawk equipment. I purchased at Walmart.com and picked up. Purchase experience was good. Setting it up has not been easy. The wizard on the app is good, but it got a little confusing when it came to call the ISP provider for activation. It looks like a new service, but you simply have to call, tell them that you have a new modem and give them the serial number and mac address. It took about an hour to do the initial setup and I have an IT background. That doesn't seem to be the case for most people. I have a 400MBS service. Thus far, I have been able to see 300MBS on my phone if I'm close to it. I've gotten as high as 150 when the connected to the Satellite. I previously had Netgear Nighthawk AC1000 and R7000. I was getting high 200MBS on extender and over 350MBS connected to the router. I felt like I had better control of the extender and the range is about the same. I have a 2000 square foot apartment on the 3rd floor. I live in a brick building, but I was able to run to video cameras on the first floor with the Nighthawk Extender. Now I cannot. First level support at Netgear is hit or miss. Sometimes you get someone that can speak clear English and seems to have a clue, other times you get a newby that is still finding his desk. After changing a channel, he told me to wait 24 hours to see if it improves. I've done this many times, so I thougth it was strange.
