I have problems with standing and walking and so I'm in the house all the time. Only going to store that have mobile chairs. I'm also raising a granddaughter and I don't get out with her. But since I purchased the ZooMe3 I'm able to go any store and now I get out with the grandbaby and I ride while she skates. It's simply wonderful.
I 'am impressed with my ZooMe3. The value is great compared to others on the internet. I weigh 275 lbs and have not had any problems with the performance . I'am handicapped and can not walk very far so this ZooMe3 has enabled me to go places that I have not been able to in the pass. I have owned two other 4 wheeled electric scooters and have not had enough leg room and not as comfortable as my ZooMe3. I like sitting up higher compared to my 4 wheeled scooters. This scooter does not perform in grass but I have no need to ride it in grass. Regards Donnie in TEXAS [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This trike is terrific! I just had a knee replacement and now need a hip replacement so walking is very difficult for me at this time. This trike lets me "walk" on the sidewalk with my husband or daughter and get out and about. I was completely housebound previously - this trike spells FREEDOM for me!
It was easy to assemble. It is great fun. I do recommend a helmet.
My wife and I enjoy going to festivals and fairs and since I have had full hip replacement due to an auto accident I can't walk long distance. We decided to purchase 2 ZooMe scooters and this past weekend took them to our first festival. We folded the handles and loaded them into our SUV with a full battery charge and headed out. Upon arrival we unloaded our ZooMe scooters and rode into the closed street festival. During our five hour stay there we were stopped at least a dozen times to tell people about our scooters and where they could be purchased. We even allowed a member of the local motorcycle club to experience the ride for himself. “What a ride” he yelled. When our day was done we headed back to the SUV to load up and go home after riding around 11.5 miles in 5 hours these scooters only used less than 50% of the battery charge. They are light weight, comfortable, and easy to use in a crowd so we agree, “What a ride”.
Okay 1st I would like to say I'm a 64 year old guy 270 lbs. 6'3'' tall. Scooter was easy to put together. The 4 seat bolts were to short so I went and got longer ones. (no big deal) Tires need to be pumped up (no big deal) I charged the scooter overnight and took it out for a test run and at 270 lbs it did well. A bit slow on hills but still faster than walking. It pulled me on grass not fast but it did pull me. I drove it on gravel, blacktop, and concrete all good. Scooter get's up speed to around 15 mph in high range. Reverse is slow but that's a good thing. I tried the headlight at night and was nice and bright. I drove it an hour none stop in grass and up and down hills I used both high and low range and the battery was still in full power range. If the front wheel spins lean forward some until you get moving. So far for it being a 350W Drive Medical scooter that was $806 sold from Walmart I'm happy with it. The biggest thing before using it is charge it like the owner's manual says. Be safe and have fun with it this thing is a blast to drive around on. Don't be afraid to buy the Zoome3
I had my first Zoome for 6 years, helped me get out of the house,I can't walk far due to back pain and breathing...just bought my second one and still love it...it will go anywhere...I'm a big person and if you've got to go uphill you have to get a running start. Could have sold hundreds for Drive Medical in past 6 1/2 years. Only drawback,it takes a strong man or two people to load and unload...i would buy again...
Not for anyone over 170 pounds and not really an “outdoor “ scooter to ride across a yard. I am disappointed, it didn't live up to its hype, at 250 pounds I thought this scooter would work well for me (rated 300 pounds with 4 inches of ground clearance) but it's sadly underpowered and won't pull me across my well maintained yard. SIDE NOTE: LOW gear doesn't work, despite more than a dozen phone calls (and more than a dozen transfers and four times being cut off) I still haven't found a tech support to help me. I think it's cool looking and if LOW gear worked it would make a great scooter for someone 150 pounds or less. Just disappointed because now I must go they the hassle of returning it
Brakes did not work on trike at speeds it will go that's important
Electric trike from drive medical- had to return motor bad didn't even get to road test
