I brought this for my wife to use not only for her scooter, but for her to get in the house, it set up within mins in I installed the two pins that came with it to the concrete. I like the fact if I want to I just need to pull the pins out and move the release pin on ramp and then I can fold it up and take it with me. I really like this ramp.
I'm so glad I bought this ramp. It's sturdy, relatively lightweight, and folds easily for transport. It makes it possible for me to safely get my father in and out of the house without injury. I wish I had bought it years ago.
My wife has MS, and we got this 8' ramp for easy wheelchair access up the two steps to our front door. Discount Ramps employee was very helpful in guiding toward the right ramp, it arrived promptly, is easy to carry/set up and is filing our needs as hoped for.
This is my third ramp in the last 3 years and this is the longest. My husband and I can now visit my brother's home easily without worry about getting into the house. It's compact enough that we can put in the car for other uses but primarily, it stays at my brothers. We have the other two for entrance into our homes. Very, very durable, reliable and lightweight.
I really like the portability of this ramp, i can take it anywhere i need to with my wife when she is in her wheelchair. I also use it to take my grill on and off of the back deck by myself! This ramp is well built and will probably last forever. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
the design is well conceived and works well. it met my goals. separating the parts made it much easier to move the ramp and be able to use it in different locations. I'm going to try to load the scooter into mu SUV using the ramp so I can transport the scooter. I think it would be helpful if the first pin to be inserted was a little longer, 1/4 inch, so both pins didn't have to be inserted almost simultaneously. I also think rounding or pointing the pin ends would help with insertion.
The ramps were a great value. It installed super easy, in just a few minutes. Beats buying lumber to build a wheel chair ramp. The cost of the discount ramp compared to the cost of a properly built wooden ramp is about the same. This ramp is also easy to relocate if needed. Thanks for a wonderful piece of equipment.

My wife uses a power wheel chair (scooter) and I was looking for a way to transport it. We just bought a minivan which has a high rear door opening. I bought your double folding aluminum ramp which does the job wonderfully. It's light weight, opens up quickly and easily and folds up into a compact size that fits easily into the back of the minivan with the power chair. It leaves plenty of room for baggage. The only annoyance is that it rattles when driving. I tried to stop the rattle by strapping it tightly together. The other thing is that the top of the ramp that sits on the rear bumper is bare metal and should have padding to protect the vehicle from scratching. Otherwise, a great product.
If made it with 10 pound less will the best on 6' long is't not as light like show at the video with the ladie, I weight one of the ramp was 20 # each that is 40# , that ladie can't handle that easy has it look, even for me is heavy. My opinion is that is less important the 800 # holder than 30 # heavy.
