I bought this seat for my 88 year Morher. I am completely satisfied with it. Fits well and very sturdy. Does not wobble or move around at all. The handles help her get up. If you have looked in pharmacies you will find this is a great price. She is really happy with it.
Used it for an elderly relative in a Vacation Rental. Installed and Removed Easily, and added much needed height to the low sitting toilet.
My wife has a difficult time using the standard toilets found in most homes, businesses, and Hotels. This item is so simple to install, and easy to remove that we wonder why we waited so long to purchase it. This item is First Class in construction, finish and well thought out in terms of being easy to use. If you have arthritis, recent surgery, knee replacement, or other major surgery, you will find this the simple answer to your problem.
A medical condition took away all the strength in my legs. I could not raise myself from a regular height toilet seat. This product was the perfect solution. I've been using it for about 3 weeks. It is high enough to make a big difference and the padded arms are the key to being able to use my arms to push myself up. Without the arms, it would still be difficult to stand with no leg strength. It is compact, lightweight, and easy to clean. I installed it on both a round and elongated toilet seat. The existing toilet seat and cover brought up behind the unit and it mounts to the bowl. It installs and removes quickly and easily and it will store nicely in the product box when not needed. I can find no negatives with this seat.
I purchased this for my total knee replacement and it was just what I needed and very comfortable, the removable side arms were very good for me for stability. I made a good choice because I was gonna buy one without the arms but so glad I didn't, I give this a 2 thumbs up.
I bought this raised toilet seat for my father who had a total hip replacement surgery. It was easy to put together & has a sturdy feel. It's lightweight & easy to put on & take off the toilet. Can be used with or without the handles. Good price compared to some of the other more expensive raised toilet seats out there that has the same function & some of the other ones looked complicated to install. My father has no problems getting on or off the seat.
After a sprained ankle and pulled muscles in both thighs that are slowly healing, this helps me to struggle way less in the bathroom. The side handles and elevated seat are key. I wish my ego would have allowed me to get it sooner
I have a friend who has this toilet seat and wanted to get one for myself. I am very pleased with this product. It is easy to install and when it comes to,cleaning the ,toilet you can remove the seat with the, same ease as when you put it on. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a "lift".
Easy to install but the support bars didn't quite leave enough room to sit down. Otherwise, it serves my temporary need for easy use of toilet after knee surgery well.
The specifics are not what we generally talk about. I am a BMI 30. And have slight trouble getting between the two handles. And after that, doing one and two at separate times. That requires some management, with errors. But if you need basic, for a 10 days of recovery, this will do it. These are not your best days, and that elevation is critical at first. Your care taker will encourage you to get better.
