I bougth the Wheelchair for my Mom who is recovering from stroke. The physical therapist said it makes her job much easier. My Mom found it very comfortable for multiple uses.
Bought this w-c but had to return it - I couldn't get the back to sit up in a more straight position. It reclined too far back in the "up-right' position for my husband to sit at his computer. Otherwise it seemed like a good quality chair. and comfortable enough. Wish we could find a wheelchair that has a tall back with head rest but sits more upright...
YOU guys are great. I needed urgently the special wheels chair for my dear mother in Costa Rica. I ordered it n it got here in NO time. More than I can expect n thank you for. God bless you sincerely.
I bought this chair for my dad and it's been a life saver. He loves it and is very comfortable in it. I definitely recommend it!
The chair seems to be just as described. There is one feature that is lacking, but would be ideal for my situation and that is some type of back release that the patient, while sitting, could operate with one hand to lower and raise the back. (this now has to done with another person standing in back of the chair now, and operating two levers) It seems that by adding a single lever at the armrest could fix this , also some spring attached on the back to raise it back up when the patients leans forward and operates the lever. Only other inconvenience is the two 'anti-tip' extensions that can be added or removed, only allow for less than an inch of clearance when going over door threshold. Other than those two modifications, for me this is a nice chair.
I cannot see how to install the anti tippers. Video for assembly leaves that part out. I can see that other consumers have the same problem. The answers given are insufficient. They need to show installation of the anti tippers on their video!!They don't just slide into the lower back frame where a hole can be seen. Pressing in the button on the anti tipper doesn't help if the width of the anti tipper is too big to slide into the holes provided. Also, the frame itself is in the way. I have left a message with customer service. I will let you know if they can help me.
Used twice and hydrolic cylinder froze, buying it from Walmart, no one will take it in for warranty repair.
I bought this chair less than a year ago. The left brake has already broken. I have over 15 years experience with all types of medical equipment and this chair is the cheapest piece of trash I ever wasted money on
Most useless Piece of junk item of medical equipment that I have purchased in the last 20 years.
