For the price it's a great chair. It's best for inside, no rubber tires so outdoors is limited. Otherwise it has many features of higher priced chairs.

I will begin with my only niggling doubt about this wheelchair - the price tag. I've used it now for around three weeks, and I will say that it is entirely worth it. I broke my leg about a month ago and I was using a chair that I had to be pushed around in. The Cruiser III offers a lot of freedom. The wheels move very easily, it's extremely easy to learn to use. When we hit the mall, I love rolling myself around. Everyone always comments that it looks very sporty. The seat is also cloth so that on car trips in the Texas summer heat, it doesn't burn my rear to sit down. Breakdown is simple. There are handles on the seat that you grip and lift. It might be a little large for some vehicles. I have to put one one of the back seats down in my Scion xD to fit it, but I haven't tried just breaking it down and slipping it behind the front seat. It weighs just shy of 40lbs, but you can very easily remove the legs to lessen that a little, then reassemble when it's time to go. Assembly is really easy, to boot. The legs are adjustable and the leg pads are very comfortable. You can adjust the length, but also the height. I'm around 5'7 and it accomodates me well, but I think I have it at maximum length and my knee is still a little bent. The foot rests are adjustable but I'm a little afraid of breaking them. I've put them to some abuse, so I think it's just me. My feet feel very stable on the rests themselves and haven't slipped off yet, a problem I had in the other chair. I apologize for the wall of text, but if you made it through all of that, kudos :) I hope that it helped you, and I hope that you or your loved one heal quickly. I am very seriously considering a second Cruiser III to leave at work when it's time to go back so I'm not carting a chair back and forth.

Very light and sturdy. Not as wide of seat. However, fits through doors better than wider model. Rolls extremely well. Folds up for car trunk.

Fits the needs of getting about a small house well. Not too wide and yet not too narrow as to make sitting in the seat uncomfortable. I ordered a Coccyx Seat Cushion also for the chair to ease the pressure on the spine. Sides easily moveable and very lightweight. Nice clean design and operates smoothly on carpet and hard floors.

In all fairness, I've had experience with manual and power chairs so I knew exactly what I needed. I did have to lower it using both the front and rear wheel adjustments due to a 3" gel seat cushion I bought. This allows my feet to reach the floor. Only do this if you are handy and comfortable. If not have a pro do it. It came assembled well and seems quality control did a good job. Although I'm about 210lbs, the 16" wide version is all I needed. I have short legs for a 5'7" frame. The leg elevators work and the swing away/removable arms come in handy when eating or working at a table. This chair is a bargain for what you get. Please realize the fit is very important especially for those using one for hours at a time. Your doctor can have an occupational/physical therapist fit you properly.

A nice chair for the money. Last about a year before it starts to show wear. Used everyday By a handicap person that is home most of the time.

This wheelchair was delivered on Monday afternoon. The plastic pieces for removable arms are VERY sharp and will cut you. The hex nuts, located near the brake handles, will BRUISE your wrists. By Tuesday night, my mom had multiple bruises on both wrists from the poorly manufactured product.

The wheelchair brakes didn't hold the wheelchair in place!
