My foot surgeon told me that once my amputation was done and also a foot ulcer that I was NOT to get my foot wet in any way shape or form. The cast protector has done its job perfectly with keeping my foot and bandages dry to the bone. I am completely satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anybody who was needing the same use that I did.
My daughter had had 5 foot surgeries. Throughout those she has gone thru 2 cast cover and only because we thought she was done. She left it at college this last surgery so we bought this one. Her 3rd use it came apart and we ended up with a last minute cast replacement with a 2 hour drive each way. If you have the choice, spend a little more for better quality.
The cast protector work really well. If you take your time putting it on and taking it off there's no trouble at all. I've used mine for months and I had no trouble with it. It's a great product and I love it.
