Easy monitor. A replacement for one I had identical.
One of the best blood glucose meters ever made. Large enough to handle easily, makes a sound when there is enough blood on the strip, and also makes a sound when your results are ready to read. I would recommend this meter over all others.
I have used a FreeStyle meter for many years and it finally just wore out (kinda like me). I don't mind the finger stick, it doesn't hurt, I actually can do it when ever necessary so to me that's better than having a thing stuck to me that checks every 5 min. which to me is a bit much. I really like my meter, it's made well, works well, is reasonably priced and it really seems like it lasts forever. I have told quite a few people that they should try the Brand. It's well worth it.

Perfect monitoring with the standard strips
A good product at a fair price. The Lancet device is a bit flimsy and the soft shell case feels inadequate to protect the monitor. I would buy again though or recomend to a friend because the main component, the monitor, is great. My dad has had ine for years and loves it too. Consider buying a different Lancet device and a hard shell case though.
Didnt deserve any star when the company take out part of the order, I have brought several monitor in this month and all came with 10 test strips. Please send me my test strip. I expected them especially when this monitor was higher than $16.00
When I opened the box, I noticed that the container of test strips was missing. I looked all around in the box and the package everything was packed in and it's just not there! I know this item is not returnable, so now what do I do??? I need the test strips in order to track my diabetes. Very upset!
The FreeStyle FREEDOM Lite seems to be a decent meter. It's MUCH easier for me to hold onto since it's bigger than the smaller standard FreeStyle Lite. But the FREEDOM meter lacks having a BACKLIT display, which could help when testing in a room that's not very well lit. I have 3 other meters, all are backlit. In fact, this is the only meter I've seen that is NOT backlit.. Backlighting should be standard on ALL meters.. I should NOT have to get a FreeStyle Lite meter (which is too small to hold onto) in order to get a backlit display. The FreeStyle Lite and the FreeStyle FREEDOM should BOTH be backlit.
