Better than most, Paper Mate has been around, and it shows in the quality of their pens. I use the Bold Gel Pens, and these ones do not disappoint. 4.5 Stars
I like to write with these pens. Smooth and comfortable. I tend to tear paper with other pens, these pens work great for me.

Profile pens are the smoothest pens Ive ever used and I write and write, daily. I just purchase some on line, but you don't have them on your shelf in the Vernon Hills store Please bring them back soon.mancavejim ps I have recommended this to several friends who swipe them immediately.

My husband and I are particular about our writing implements because we both write all day. A pen which has too much drag will require more effort and tire us out quickly. This pen writes smoothly and does not bleed or smudge. It is glides across the paper and is lightweight and has a comfortable rubber grip on the barrel. It is a great value and it is the only pen we will use. We give these pens to our friends and they are always are appreciative and become converts.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went and got Paper Mate - PROFILE RT BP RED 1.4MM O S ink pen and I love it. I never have any problems using it, it has a rubber grip so writing for a long time won't hurt . I definitely recommend this product.
I write a lot, smoothness is important. I find I really have to apply pressure and still don't get a consistent line ifink
Good low cost pen that doesn't smear while using.
Looked forward to getting these pens. From what I remembered my hand never became fatigued and the writing never smeared. Don't know if they changed the formula or what, but I ordered 2 boxes each of blue and black ink. So far every prn I've used gives me "globs" or smears. So disappointing!! I send out all of the cards for our church family along with both my husband and my large families. Birthday/anniversary/get well/atta boy (girl)/congrats....So now I am back on the hunt for that perfect pen. Hopefully it will come in blue/black/red.
