This pen is perfect for doing crosswords. The letters are darker than any pencil could be and the erasing is magnificent - takes very little pressure, and leaves the paper clean. I highly recommend it.

My daughter is learning how to write cursive letter and this product is great when she makes mistakes in the homework and the other works for her teacher.
Erases easily on thin newspapers. It’s difficult to use pencils on newspapers and see puzzles after using an eraser. These pens solve the problem.
Exactly what my Boy's needed for school. They wrote %26 love they way they work. Smooth %26 vertical easy to erase.
In the past few years I have bought Hundreds of the Paper Mate erasable ink pens in red and in mostly blue The red, has been fine . But the last 3-4 boxes of the12 ,blue , has been so disappointing. they have been leaving blotch after blotch of ink, and in writing even a very fresh brand new one does it within minutes I start in my bible study journals .It also skips ink in a lot of the letters where I have to go back and try to fill in. These ink blotches get all over your hands and sometimes arms. Which has caused the ruination of 3 table cloths now as you cannot erase that. The Paper Mate erasable pens, I have bragged about and told many that is the way to go, for many , many years They do erase well, but not where there are ink blobs/blotches, with these last batches of pens..
I have used these white capped Papermate erasable ink pens for a long time...I bought the dozen in the box rather than in the pack as it was so much cheaper to buy the box of 12. It's hard to find these pens just anywhere but I can always find them at Walmart. They work well, better if you put the lid on it when you are not using the pen. Helps the pen to write longer. I would have given it 5 stars but the eraser is not as clean as it could be. I use it for crossword puzzles and sometimes it smears what you are erasing. Have looked and cannot find anything close to these pens except for gel pens that are much more expensive. I usually try to clean eraser by erasing on another scrap of paper to get extra ink off.

Paper Mate has GREAT erasable pens, but this particular type of pen is frustrating to use because the ink doesn't flow well (spotty, sticky, requires re-writing again and again in order to see ink), making writing VERY difficult to do with these pens! The ink erases perfectly, though, so that's one good thing about them. My mother and I both bought a box, both boxes won't write well. Beware!!!
These write horribly. Not expected from this brand at any price point. It's almost as if they are fake quality but wouldn't suspect that from Sam's. If you draw a straight line from left to right, for example, the line will be dotted. All of them “cut out” randomly when writing leaving no ink on the paper. I got them for my 10yr old to use at school and will be tossing them since we've used a few.
