I bought this because I had some outpatient surgery recently and figured it would help me out for multiple uses. I wasnt wrong! It adjusts very easily and although I havent had the need to use the tilt feature, Im sure it will work flawlessly. In additional to its convenience in my sick bed I intend to use it when I am well along side my chair!
I have tried just about everything, cheap, expensive, poor, rich, black, white, after going through a lot of garbage came across this gem. 1. Badass features and Value of money - the sturdiness of this guy is available in other products but none of them have the tilt feature, like not a single one of them. The ones that do are at least twice as expensive. The easy height adjustment is again not available in any of the tables at this price point. The function to tilt the table is also total badass in itself instead of a the cheap screw and fix mechanisms. 2. Quality - all the material quality is top notch, there is not a single thing that I could put a finger on and ask for better. 3. Assembly - it requires putting in 3 screws and that's it, I am 41 years old but due to health issues my overall physical state is that of a 70 year old and this was the least amount of effort to put together. I didn't even have to screw the wheels. When all is said and done you are astonished to realize how the heck did they design it to still fit in that box cause the only thing you really do is add the middle rod between the base and the top. Lastly I am pretty sure at least some of you would use it with computers, the edge is quarter of an inch high and would not stop my MacBook Pro from sliding down so I had to place a raiser next to the edge, its an addition you would need but its absolutely what it should be, because with the computer you would need the raiser but for eating or anything else you wouldn't want it to be there. This is literally the 8th table I bought and I couldn't be happier.
I received this table with a broken castor and therefore it cannot be used by my mother in hospice care. My only option was to repackage the whole dang thing and ship it back to walmart for a refund BECAUSE now its out of stock. All I wanted was a free castor. Thats it. Walmart sells the castors through a third party so the CSR said they couldnât give me any of those. I would have to pay for the 4 pack of castors myself. So I did... $22 that I canât afford. I even called Invacare directly...no help. Disgusting. I am the SOLE caretaker for my mother who has end stage dementia. I have no help and I canât work. The fact I have to pay an extra $22 to use the $67 product I received damaged really burns me. Like I need another burden in the middle of this pandemic.
