I love how fast but quiet it is. It's not silent but compared to my last shredder it's very quiet. I am very happy.
So far so but the proof is in time I just got it a week ago
I bought this shredder to replace a different model that was over 10 years old and constantly overheated. This shredder makes fine confetti out of the paper and handles multiple sheets at a time with ease all. It operates quietly too! I shredded a stack of several hundred pages in a few minutes with no jams or overheating. I had not heard of this brand before buying but I am pleased with it's performance

Just got this today and so far so good. Works great. It will shut down after about 4 minutes of continuous use. When this happens it has to rest for 45 mins. I knew this when I purchased it. I had several stacks of credit card statements sitting around and needed to shred them. I was able to put them in the shredder envelope and all.
It's ok for the money. You can only do 3 thin papers at a time or it jams.
I was excited to see all of the positive comments about this product, so I went right out to Walmart and purchased this Micro cut Shredder. I said 14 pages at 4 hours of use time would be fantastic for a shredder! So I started using the shredder and found it to be extremely quiet and it seemed to fly through 8-10 sheets like a breeze for about 45 minutes. THEN DOA DOWN ON ARRIVAL!!! It suddenly went into protect mode for 30 minutes. The light came back on and went to green and the unit was running again, so I decided to put NO MORE than 7 pieces of paper into the shredder at a time. BANG!!! 30 MINUTES AGAIN!!! That did it for me.... Brand new out of the box , not a repack. This product is a piece of garbage. I great for someone who comes home and gets a few pieces of mail a day. Anymore than that and it's simply a waste of time. Recycle or return it as I am doing after it's first day of use. A regular person.
Have not had this shredder a year. Now it does not at all.
