Love this bit of hardware. Got a great deal on it. Received it quickly. I'd already bought a NVME case to use this to clone my existing smaller capacity NVME. The software - Acronis is available for free on the WD site and it works great! Had no issues with the cloning itself and this drive is blazing fast. Worth it.
Excellent value and performance per byte . Highly recommended
I replaced my hard drive which took ten minutes to load Windows and my programs with the SN 550, 1 terabyte drive chip. It now takes 10 seconds to load the same Windows and associated programs.
Great 500gb nvme ssd. I put it in the PCI X8 slot with a cheap 9 dollar adapter. Thing is blazing fast. More fast than the nvme I have in the actual nvme slot which was surprising to me.

Works perfectly as a replacement in my Asus Nitro 5 laptop. Pretty fast and easy to install, and simple to clone using WDC's Acronis tool.
Nice and fast as used as second drive on my computer.
WD has swapped its NAND to a slow nand and this is unfair. writes speed are very poor for someone who records a lot of video (game capture , desktop capture ) it sucks. Now i will advice for buying a SAMSUNG 980 to everyone. and WD you just lost a lot of customer i have bought over 20 WD product for my friends. now i will go for samsung.
