It a great product by the side of the bed for day or night time use it has convenient side hand rails and can be used for over the toilet and it is adjustable and easy to assemble no tools needed And The bucket comes with a separate lid also so she you have to remove the bucket pace the lid over to to keep odors in And it's light weight no problem moving it from room to room easy adjust to what height you need it to be ,great product for your care giving needs.
-+The bedside commode was a little small for my hips, but I can still use it I just have to be care getting up from using it. It need to be alittle bigger for a heavy person and the legs need to be a lillte wider to support you . I like the height was fine for me
I received this item and was curious about it and it said no tools needed. I was surprised how easy it all went togeather and how sturdy it was. I have had these for my mom and they were flimsy and I didn't think it was safe for her . but now that I use one and I am 300 lbs I was worried it would not hold me. well I was wrong it was real sturdy and holds 400 ilbs
The Equate Commode is very versatile! You can use it as a bedside commode (it even has a lid!), you can put it over the toilet and/or after removing the seat, it can be used as safety rails around the toilet.It is lightweight but provides strong support.Easy to move from room to room.Best if used with the Equate Commode Bags.I would recommend!
This product review came at a great time as my elderly mother has been staying with me. She has Lynphoma. It's beem increasingly harder for her to get to and from the bathroom, especially because the urge to urinate hits her at bedtime. This bedside commode was excellent in that it was lightweight for her to move around if needed, but also sturdy enough to hold her without fear of it collapsing. Or was relatively easy for her, and myself, to remove the liners and dispose of them without a huge mess.
Thank you Home Testers Club for letting me try the Equate Bedside Commode 3-in-1. I really loved it. So durable and stong. It is a lot better than what I used before. With having trouble walking due to lower back and bad hips, this product is amazing. Thank you.

The Equate Bedside Commode is a nice choice for a person's bedside needs. It was a little difficult to set up but I managed to get it to set up. Had a hard time adjusting the legs for the height I needed but when I did it stayed. Just can not plop down on it if you are a heavier person. Don't lean back to far because you can make it tip. It works really well as an assist for a regular commode because it stays put and the person is able to get up from a seated position without the frame moving. It works nice with the seat on over the commode but even better when you take it off. I liked how well it works as a bedside commode with the accompanying commode liners because they made clean up so much easier.
Convenient and versatile, this commode can be used alone or to assist getting on and off of a conventional toilet. Perfect for those with mobility issues that have difficulty getting to the bathroom, especially at night. High quality and easy to assemble.
it is to small it holds 400 pounds but you better not have no back side wont fit
