Seems like a big waste but... Anyway, the cartridges are easy to install and provide beautiful color. I did appreciate the recycling opportunity with the free UPS return label as well.
We are a business, I try to always have extra cartages on hand. This time I didn't and I was able to order and the cartages came just in time. We always receive our order in a very timely fashion.
Works great. Arrived MUCH quicker than Amazon. They wanted 10 days. Walmart got it to me in 3 days - important when you're out of black toner! As an aside, always use genuine HP toner cartridges. Learned my lesson buying cheaper generics.

HP printers are pretty good. Basically satisfied with the print quality. However, the business model of selling hardware for lower cost and then selling toner for high prices is disingenuous at best. My first HP printer in grad school (c. 1996) was an absolute work horse, with toner cartridges that lasted for thousands of pages. The printer chugged along for nearly 20 years - efficient and reasonably priced. I only stopped using it because driver support was discontinued. There have been NO printers matching this superior level since. Gouging customers through toner purchases so frequently doesn't endear HP to its customers.
These work fine, but are HORRIBLY overpriced.
Cartridges I bought stated I could get 1000 pages printed. After printing only 50 pages, my printer indicated the cartridges were now at 80%.
The cartridge does not print cleanly... leaves large streaks on color test page in the black section and anything I print in black. I know it's not my printer because I can put the old black toner cartridge back and this issue resolves. Now I inconveniently need to reach out to HP customer service to get this issue resolved. Quality of HP toner cartridges needs to be reviewed.
