I love my Rog M15! It's fast and can handle anything. It has a very sleek look. You can't tell that it's a powerful gaming computer and I love that about it! Asus is one of the best!
Best laptop I have had so far. Performance is amazing for an actually thin and slim but not too light laptop. Screen is bright enough and colors are EXCELLENT. Thermals are a bit on the toasty side, but with a laptop cooler, it manages to stay below 70 degrees on the CPU and GPU on AAA titles while pushing about 180 Hz(Specifically in Black Ops Coldwar). I highly recommend this laptop!!
This computer is powerful, quiet and keeps cool no matter what I am running on it (VR games and video editing software). I've been using it for about a year hooked up to two monitors while using the laptop's display (240hz & 3ms) as a third monitor and am very satisfied with its performance - very stable. Two things to keep in mind though - it doesn't have a number key pad or a webcam built in.
Absolute the best gaming laptop i have tried by far. I have repurchased game i already own on xbox and it us somemuch smoother peferc5 for game play
I've been using ROG laptops for 10 years now and every year they get better and better and better. I say all this to say even though the constantly improve you really don't need to change them every time and new one drops because inside every ROG machine is quality engineering and top notch performance.
I love it! Great for video editing. The speed is insane with rendering. Love playing apex on here with my dual screen set up!
It's a nice laptop. Though I do think the letters on the keys are hard to see under certainly lighting conditions of the backlit is off, an issue I never had before.
The lack of a webcam was a bit of a surprise, but not really a big deal. However, the fact that the system was unable to detect the SSD once already was REAL concerning. After a hard reboot, everything seems fine. Also, whatever designer thought it was a good idea to put the speakers on the back should be fired. I like how quiet the product is even when running high end software.
Wonderful, powerful, beautiful screen, great sound, the performance I like. Would go for a little thicker around the heatpipe area for better cooling as it gets too hot to touch and I think the thinner fins, despite 4 of them, would be helped by size and or depth. I think it'd certainly be worth it to be able to use the keyboard. Even with a 5 fanned angled stand, gets really hot on the other side but I do think it keeps me from throttling too too much in games. Sometimes something wont let the nvidia graphics throttle up from 810mhz and it takes a reboot. Otherwise, I have no complaints (and 1 of them I KNEW I was in store for as I chose this size for portability and travel).
I would say if you want to get this laptop for gaming, doing your homework or even render some video clip, it works really fine. But I don't think this laptop has a good microphone for your class or your meeting. And the fan pretty loud if your laptop is in turbo fan mode. Oh one thing that I have to say is when you set your battery plan for 60% and keep charging it while playing video game, the left side of the laptop will be very hot. Besides, there is another hot spot (rectangular flat area on the back of the laptop). That's why you need a cooling pad (6 fans pad - one fan has to be place in the middle of the pad, will work much better than 4). Hope you enjoy your experience with this laptop!
