I have used many different types and brands of pregnancy test and I think this one is very user friendly. That is important as taking a pregnancy test can be emotionally challenging. Anything to make the process less stressful is a win. The box contains two individually wrapped tests. The box report that you can use it when your period is three days away and it is accurate at a rate of about 88% That number jumps to 97% if you can wait just one more day! The area that you urinate on is very wide and it turns from white to a bright pink when it is wet. That lets you know that you didn't miss the mark. The results window is large and has a results key right next to it. The lines show up nice and bright so no wondering if the test actually worked. The box says you can read your results in as little as 1-3 minutes. Again, super helpful to reduce the anxiety caused by waiting for results. I definitely would buy this test the next time I need one. If you aren't familiar with taking a home pregnancy test I highly recommend this one. It takes the guesswork out and lowers your time to wait for results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clearblue rapid test is really just that, rapid. The tool is a long stick with color changing tip and two "windows," a control window and result window. The control window should always have a blue line that indicates its working and the result will be valid. In the result window, a blue line, either horizontal or vertical will appear. Horizontal is not pregnant and any indication of a "t" (horizontal and vertical crossing lines) indicates pregnancy. In order to set the color changing tip, you can either pee directly on it for 5 seconds or pee into a cup and dip the tip in for 5 seconds. The stick will turn pink so you know it worked. when I used it, the result of a horizontal line only appear. This was almost immediately. The instructions tell you to wait 1 min for the pregnant indicator and up to 3 for the non pregnant and after 10 minutes the results should be read then discarded and disregarded beyond that. Within that 10 mins, my result never changed which was comforting. I didnt end up throwing it out right away. 20 mins later, there was the ever lightest vertical blue line that appeared. This got me worried. Now I'm trusting the result within the 10 minutes but their is some concern about seeing something different 20 mins later. While I trust Clearblue rapid test, there still can be a cause for pause when using it.
