The TI-80 Calculator Teacher Kit was exactly what we needed for our biology labs. Very affordable, solar charging (no batteries!), and the calculators have all of the basic scientific functions.
Our elementary and middle school use these in the classroom. They are very sturdy and have held up extremely well. Having noted the above fact these were a natural choice for me to order to send to a very remote village school in Ethiopia. A teachers teaching guide sheet would be quite helpful for them to add to this box of ten.
These are the best calculators for middle schoolers. I've been given other ones and these stand the test of time. With other calculators, kids could rip of buttons or easily try to take it apart. These last me years.
I still have the ones I used in 3rd grade 14 years ago! Sustainable and simple. Thank you Texas Instruments!
Quick delivery, great for classroom use! I buy for teachers so I can't really vouch for the durability or ease of use, but the teachers were elated to find a teacher set at a reasonable price!
