These are the worst calculators I've ever used. I bought the 8 character model, but, the 12 character model is basically the same. These calculators will only frustrate anyone using them. There is NO button commit... when a button is pressed other than a light touch, it should snap down and up registering the press. You must firmly press each button for it to register. Even then it may not. I took one apart and cleaned the plastic film circuit board and back pf the buttons. This helped ( probably some residual film left over from the mfg process). But it didn't help enough. Threw in the trash. Not work my time.
I bought this in light pink for my office and use it periodically for easy calculations. You have to push the buttons pretty hard for them to register. The left column of numbers/ON/AC buttons barely work and I find myself getting frustrated at pushing the buttons over and over again. It's cheap for a reason. I really wanted to love it, but didn't.
