You put your finger over mouth and it signals it to move and talk. There is a button on back that you can shut him off so you dont run the battery out. Its a fair size for little hands. Nice little toy!

He was jumping up and down and wanted it out of the packaging and him and his brother are taking turns playing with it and my little one carry's it every where he goes . He loves rubbing its nose or belly or head and hearing it make noise .He put it in his book bag so as soon as he comes out of school and gets in the car he pulls him out and then he plays with it and watches the Pikachu movie with it

They like how Pikachu lights up and moves and makes noise. It is cute and fun. You can also train it too. There are over 100 interactions you can do with it. I would recommend this toy to anyone who has children who are Pokemon and Pikachu fans.

They all like this little guy with lots of sensors in his body and even if you just let him sit on the table, he's gonna talk to you. My baby is having so much fun with Pikachu saying “Pika! Pika!”. If you left him unattended for so long, he's gonna turn Off automatically. It's so lightweight with very bright yellow color which is so attractive. It stands 3.5 inches by 4.75 inches and it fits perfectly on the palm of my kids. They've been so entertained by Pikachu. Now, they just found a new friend. I highly recommend it!

My only disappointment was that there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to getting it to light up. Children found this to be a fun surprise with occasional frustration. The toy itself was of good quality material, and so far is durable against child play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson was super excited as he is a huge pikachu fan! Pikachu lights up on the front and back and says several different phrases. He loved it at first but it didnt really keep his attention long. It could have been just a normal 6 yr old reaction as he doesnt play with anything for long. Overall a very cute toy and the lights make it very appealing for the younger kids. I would recommend this toy to other pikachu fans
