This is the second TENS unit we have purchased from Healthmate. They have been a lifesaver for my wife. She has had back surgery with the understanding that she will have pain for the rest of her life. This machine numbs that pain where she can be pain-free for hours and days on end. We couldn't do without it!
I had the smaller version that worked really well but I loaned it out for a day and it hasn't returned yet....been 2 months so I guess it works well for them also. This one works even better because it has two separate channels to the output is not divided between them. It works for back, neck, leg or anywhere else pain. The muscle toner really works things and can't help but strengthen the core and other muscles which should take a load off the joints and bones and make everything work better.
This unit is very slim and one charge seems to last forever. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. Bottom line; this is the best unit of this type I have used to date. BTW: It's perfect for lower back-pain!
I have used it 10 times so far and works excellent. I nice deep grind with very little sting. It gets rid of pain with one session for me. The lithium battery is great, plus lifetime warranty on the whole unit even the battery. So no dissapointments
it's awesome!!! has helped me heal a herniated disc! And then I had a headache the other day, 90 seconds with the tens between my thumb and forefinger, and on my shoulder, and the headache was gone!
I have suffered with severe scoliosis for 40+ years. Wish I would have made this purchase a LONG time ago.
Bought it for my chronic backache. Although it's only the size of an iPod but it's a very powerful device. Have used it for the last 2 days for my back and sole of my feet for my heel pain. Works very well to relieve my backache but yet to see results for my heel. Will continue to use it and see how it goes. Battery seems to last a long time. The international charger is very useful for those who are using different voltage from the U.S. Highly recommend this to anyone with stiff neck and backache.
I've used this several times and it seems to work quite well. I just wish that the intensity control had a "finer adjustment" as it seems to be quite strong, even at the lowest level. I also think that when the unit comes with 2 leads that there should be 2 pad holders, because what are you going to stick those pads on after you've used them? Also, the instructions could be printed a bit larger, they are very hard to read, along with the chart for pad placement. Otherwise, I've used the unit for several days before having to recharge it, which is very nice.
Unfortunately, I can't say if it is good as I suffer from the EDS and I was hoping that it would help relief some of my pain but so far I had to stop using it because it seems that my problem does not respond well to it. Not the unit's fault...;-(
I could not believe that the little dial with plus & minus & M & T fell off. What do I Donne??? For the price I paid and I e bought 2 in the last month ( one forca friend). I'm disappointed that on my 12 the littlecdial would fall off. And I fell the vibration helps. But should I send it back or will You send me another. I've spent $200 in the past month with the company!
