Just received this from FedEx. (I am so fortunate for Walmart!) Have to special order Delica Plus Lancets. My fingers are too small for regular brands. My problem now is that I purchased this because of "no coding required." Wow! What a heavenly blood glucose monitor! However, the instructions say that I should get a bottle of control solution with the strips...???

While I still find the FreeStyle Glucometers to accept the smallest blood sample, the Ultra 2 meter is much better than my Ultra Mini meter. I use OneTouch because my insurance will cover the lancets and test strips but not those for the FreeStyle. I prefer testing on an alternative site (forearm) than fingertips so I was disappointed that the lancing device does not provide the clear cover needed in those cases. My Ultra Mini had that option and came with a carrying case. I had to buy the Ultra 2 carrying case as an extra cost. These issues caused me to rate the Ultra 2 a 4 rather than a 5.
This was to include a case per the picture online AND in the order details on Walmart's sight. I have put in a request for either the correct set or to return the item. If I get a quick and appropriate response from seller (not Walmart) the stars on the review as is appropriate. The kit I received cost $10 less at two local Walgreens.
I have a old one .. same brand and I think old one is more accurate.. I called One Touch and spent a hour taking survey and answering questions.. they were supposed to send me a test solution but never received it
I will be returning this item. Was looking for an alternative to the Contour Next I use - the strips are very expensive. One Touch's readings are 20 points too high. I know the Contour Next is accurate because of my blood work. Very disappointing. Get what you pay for I guess.
I disliked this product because it got stuck on the give blood screen and wouldnt go futher. I even had my doctor look at it with me and he couldn't figure it out because it was broken.
The reason I ordered this specific one is that it claimed it comes with a case. It does not come with one I was totally mad when I opened it. The description says case included.
