My only issue is that it's huge. Only had it for a week so far and every print has been 110%. Love it!
I have been using the Pro-100 and when Canon announced this Pro-300 I pre-ordered it immediately. The Pro-100 makes great prints and I also have the Pro-1000 which is a specialty printer that makes 17x22 poster prints. I received this Pro-300 yesterday and let me tell you it's amazing and the prints jump off the paper. It comes with setup inks so you will need to order more inks. This printer is a mini-me version of the Pro-1000. You can now see the ink levels in the small screen on the front of the printer. The only thing negative I would say is the 8x10 takes 4 minutes to print while with the pro-100 it takes 60 seconds. but the prints are better and last longer. Get this printer, you won't be disappointed.
I had an older Canon photo printer and the ink was becoming to hard to find and costly. I wanted to start printing again and decided that the Pro-300 would meet my needs. The first prints that I made were from my fall trip to New Hampshire in the fall. The photos that I printed matched my computer display.
Print quality is as good as the P!0. Blacks may be better. Seems to handle paper a little better and clearly provides more feedback and information on its LCD. the new printing application is a help.
Outstanding printer, great replacement for my Pixma Pro 100 after 8 years of use died. Love the ink, clolots a vivid, the print software is so good either as a standalone or in conjunction with PS 2024
This printer has been every much as advertised. Colors are true and vibrant. It does not waste ink and it's just an overall great printer. It prints on canvas, which is the main purpose that I purchased it and the quality is simply outstanding. I'm very glad I made this purchase. So far so good.
The little printer that can. Does it all and easy to use. Amazing photos!! Calibrate monitor and what you see is what you get.
The print quality and paper handling is excellent. Ink consumption is higher than my Canon 9500 Pro.
I had to finally retire my i9900 after many years of excellent service and took the plunge with the ProGRAF-300. Very pleased! This printer is light years ahead of what I had become used to. Gone are the days of going back and forth to get the printer and LightRoom to be on the same page when it came to page setup, paper handling and printing. The display on the printer offers a wide variety of settings, and information. I've gone with the option of having Canon monitor ink supply and sending replacement ink as tanks run low (looking forward to seeing how that works). But the quality of the printed output is much superior to the i9900.
This printer replaced my Pro9000 which I absolutely loved. The first photos I printed on this new printer, I was dissatisfied with, but I changed the paper I was using and the difference was nearly night and day! The print quality is quite good. The ink seems to last longer than on the old printer. The print speed is a little slower than the Pro9000but I do think the quality is better on this printer. I'm not sure how I feel about the software, like any new software, I guess it takes some getting used to.
