A couple of years ago I was having a problem and was advised to try Colace, which I did. It didn't work as well as I had hoped, and even then it was slow. Subsequently I saw a doctor at a local hospital because I was in such pain and he advised me to try Fiber Well Prebiotic in a gummy form. I was sure that he had made a mistake and wondered if he didn't mean a Probiotic. That's what I've heard advertised so frequently and I thought that perhaps I had heard him wrong. I bought some and have used it ever since. It's easy to eat as it's almost like candy and it even tastes good. I was told to take 2 a day and as long as I'm consistent my bowel movements are very consistent. It's unbelievable what 2 little gummies are able to do to keep me regular and feeling so good.
It works. 2 gummies 2x a day for “severe” cases or 1 gummy 2x a day or total of 2 gummies every evening is great for maintenance. Rather than a FIBER DRINK.
I've used this product for several years to maintain fiber consistency for my system when travelling for business. Now that I'm retired, I continue to use FiberWell for overall health benefits.
These gummies are just like a candy gummy -- same texture and taste, nothing "off" or "different" to know that they are, in fact, a fiber supplement. Two gummies contain 5 grams of fiber, and you can take as many or as few as you need. Like with any fiber product, they will produce gas, but it will be odorless (just air, no smell). I have been using them for months and will continue purchasing them.
Wonderful.prodict but delivery and curbside are quite costly now days.
My GI doctor suggested that I add additional fiber to my diet. Other types of fiber are not as easy to take as these gummies. Very convenient with no mixing, etc. Just chew them.
It tastes good and it helps me get the extra fiber I need. You don't get much from these, when my Dr says I need 35 grams of fiber a day and each gummy only has 2.5 grams of fiber, that's not much, but did I mention they taste good and I enjoy eating one instead of sweets when I have a sweet tooth 🤷🏻♂️. So I eat about 4 gummies a day for 10 grams of fiber, plus that yucky fiber supplement I have to take. But this is about 32 cents for 4 gummies equaling 10 grams of fiber, and the fiber supplement I take is about 10 cents for 20 grams of fiber. So I only need to eat enough veggies to get 5 grams of fiber and I'm good 😊.
I enjoy eating these and getting my fiber. But there is only 2.5g of fiber in each. My Dr wants me to get 35g of fiber per day. So these work to help, but you'd have to eat more than a dozen a day to get enough fiber through these. The first time I got them at $ off and enjoyed them. After that I once payed the higher price, then I ordered a few again when they had $ off. So I will only order now when they're cheaper but my Dr wants me getting my fiber from beans, black eyed peas, celery, etc.. So I can only use these to help getting that 35 grams a day. And it's much easier than drinking the psyllium. But I still do one dose of the powder I have to mix until it's gone. Then I will still have to eat real fiber to reach my goal.
I think this is my first time trying this specific brand of fiber supplement, and they taste GREAT!! (Don't tell Tony the Tiger I stole his line) Trying to get more fiber in my diet, while following a strict restricted portion meal plan, has been a challenge, and these are quick and easy. The powders and pills were very upsetting to my stomach so I had to stop those. I eat PLENTY of vegetable's, just not in enough quantity to meet fiber goals. I took one star away because they can get stuck in the bottle to each other, but other than that, I love them!!
Early 60s and needed some help with extra fiber. This product, although pleasant tasting, didn't really seem to help with the 'process.' I did notice my gut is a bit more quiet, maybe due to the prebiotics? No more really loud bowel sounds, which is a good thing. But as far as fiber bulking up the end result, it hasn't happened. I am drinking plenty of water. I've taken the product as instructed for a week. The instructions on this product were not all that detailed. I assumed when you take a fiber product you would want to consume a lot more fluids (especially water). No instructions on that. Good price point, pleasant tasting and I think the prebiotic aspect is effective, but I don't see any improvement in the fiber aspect. I have to laugh, I have nothing better to do in life than to review a fiber product? I never thought I would reach THAT age. Well, if you can't expel the problem, it does become a severe issue. So there is that.
