This is amazing. I have used it in my diet and have lost a total of pounds total. I have it for breakfast and it holds me over for a few hours. Then I eat whatever I want around 1 or two and only have soups before bed.
These shakes really help with controling hunger. If you put them in the freezer for a while just to turn them into a soft serve ice cream, you will think you have a premium chocolate shake. Now, don't go drink this and have a meal at the same time. Your glucose number will be high. This is just in case you need to have something. I will have one of these shakes instead of a meal. It serves its purpose.
Very healthy, yet extremely chocolaty... mmmm remarkably yummy for something diatetic like this. I love it best when it's almost frozen then shaken... WOW!!! The vanilla is quite good too. I've never tried the strawberry flavor but if the rich chocolate and vanilla are any indication, it's probably great.
While I'm not diabetic, I find that having a bottle of Glucerna Hunger Smart as lunch gives me the chocolate flavor I love while removing the sugar drop I experienced when I eat a regular lunch. I'm no longer snacking mid afternoon! This protein shake works well for me.
I tried these because I'm diabetic and I don't eat a lot. These shakes are not only tasty but perfect for when you're on a go and can't eat that you maintain my sugar and keep it from dropping, which is the biggest problem I have is the rich chocolate, I've never tried any of the others, I might try the strawberry but I'm not good on banana or vanilla flavors so I'll try those. They're great ice cold or room temperature..
They are so Quick for lunch options %26 delicious to drink. They are wonderful with keeping my Glucose levels steady. They keep that hunger feeling at bay. I absolutely love these, %26 I highly recommend these.
Dislike price. It adds up when taking daily. Like nutrition %26 taste, it's satisfying, don't feel hungry.. Flavors are good- chocolate, strawberry, %26 vanilla. Being a diabetic, I very much appreciate the product.
I have been drinking Glucerna for many years, several days during the month although I am not a diabetic. I started buying it for my mom and I liked it. She loved it, too. Pricey, which doesn't allow me to buy it for every day. It's my favorite breakfast, with a few saltines. Good amount of fiber and protein, keeps me regular. I can tell my body misses its breakfast the days I don't have this drink. Chocolate became my favorite since they modified the taste of Butter Pecan. Sometimes I buy Strawberry also tasty, or Butter Pecan although not as good as it was before, if there's no chocolate. The only one I can't tolerate is vanilla because it is not my kind of flavor. I also like it for the vitamins it contains, it's nutritious and delicious when chilled. I don't notice that medicine taste many drinks have and I really believe it has helped me to not cross the limit of glucose in blood. When my lab tests show pre-diabetes I try to immediately make Glucerna my everyday breakfast, or evening snack. Please, don't make it so expensive, the price has increased too much recently.
My father drinks this every morning for breakfast. We know he is getting some nutrients everyday. My father is 87 yrs old.
Helps w wound healing, very good meal supplement Wish cost was less and not a fan of some of a few of the ingredients like the cargeenan and a few others, still beats having to take a billion supplements
