I suffer from irregular constipation due to my chemo treatments and other laxatives give me such bad stomach cramps. I can take these and within 15/20min have a bowel movement and feel so much better!! Best thing to help constipation I've ever found!!
I had been constipated for over a week- my back had started to hurt, I was so bloated it looked like I'd gained 10 pounds, and it was over the holiday! :( I know the sound of putting something up your butt hole sounds terrible, gross, and traumatizing, but it's seriously not that hard, and well worth it!!!! Just make sure you “retain” it for 15-20 min as instructed so it works the best.
I've been in so much uncomfortable, bloated, disgusting pain for almost 2 weeks. Bought them tonight based onLine reviews. This was absolutely amazing, no discomfort, instant relief of the majority in my system. Feel so good, I'm going to use it again tomorrow. And I think my problems are over.
Does what it is supposed to do :) depending where you get it the price is fine for name brand.
I bought this product several months ago but was to afraid to use not knowing exactly when it would work. I have had IBS for over 25 years and I take probotics and eat high fiber. I literally look like I am pregnant after 5 to 6 days not being able to use the bathroom. This was the best product, worked in 15 mins,my stomach went down immediately the relief of cramping and just being uncomfortable stopped! My only suggestion would be to drink a lot of water due to dehydration. Only side effect was a small burning sensation that was temporary and a little light headed until I drank a couple bottles of water. This is my lifesaver!
I have never had any problems that required using something like this before, so I was really nervous and hesitant. I hadn't gone #2 in a week. Nothing helped (I even took Dulcolax pink laxatives). I finally tried this product, and I am SO glad I did. It made me go within 30 minutes of taking. It was very easy to use and insert.
I have never had hard stool the way I did, ever. I bought this product, hoping for relief. I was not disappointed! I felt it starting to work in 15 minutes. I "held on" a few minutes longer, then ran to the bathroom. After an hour I was relieved. Thank goodness! I will keep this in stock if this ever happens again. Fingers crossed never again.
I bought these laxatives for use while fighting a hoard of issues with my gallbladder. Most of the medicine the doctors had me on caused constipation that would last for days, with no easy relief. I stumbled across these laxative on the store shelf, and thought I'd give them a try... And I'm glad I did! They worked in about 20 minutes (for me at least), and only caused a mild burning sensation, like the box said was possible. The product worked so well, that I can completely overlook the mild discomfort. I recommend these suppositories to anyone who is feeling a little "backed up" and is searching for effective relief!
Some frank comments: This is not a gentle overnight laxative or something to keep you “regular.” This is a waxy bullet that goes where-the-sun-don't-shine, where it melts and releases an irritating chemical, forcing your colon to push out the blockage. You will feel intense intestinal cramps as it does its job. However, they are highly effective if you've gone for three or four days without going no. 2. Why you would use one: They are predictable, effective and portable. Usually, it takes one hour between insertion and getting off the toilet. In my experience, Dulcolax pills intended to work overnight are unpredictable and can take effect at the worst times. I stash a bullet or two (rather inconspicuously) with my toiletries whenever I'm on business travel or vacationing with the family. How to use one (advice from talking to an RN, somewhat graphic): Man up! The waxy bullet needs to be driven as far up your butt as you can get it (but touching the intestinal walls and not buried in stool), so that the medication can adequately stimulate your lower colon. Getting it "just in" will burn more and cause you to go to the toilet and expel it before any stimulation of the colon takes place. You'll get no results besides a partly melted suppository. You need to lie on your stomach or left side for at least 15 minutes to allow the solid wax to fully melt. At this point, you should be feeling some cramps start to hit. At this point, I get up and start walking around to help get things moving as well as a distraction from the cramps. You should hold it in for as long as possible (I usually aim for 30 minutes) before heading to the throne. DON'T pass "gas" until you're on the toilet (clench your cheeks), or you'll end up with a greasy mess in your underwear/pants. Try to have as thorough a dump as possible before going about the rest of your day. I've occasionally needed to make a second trip to the bathroom an hour or so later if there's anything left. I shower afterwards to get rid of any irritating suppository residue back there.
When I got these suppositories for my autistic son, when I put them in for him he complained the bottoms felt sharp, and when I looked the bottom of all the suppositories inside were rough, sharp and broken apart. When he released them, —in his diaper, his autism has him in diapers— it had a bad burning pain inside his tummy and his butt, and it was all sticky, hard to clean up. Plus, they didn't dissolve very well at all, as I found them as I cleaned him.
