I have used Neosporin for so many years I can't remember using any other kind of ointment. My children and grandchildren look at Neosporin as a cure all. Sometimes children won't let you put medicine on them because they think it will hurt but when my grandchildren get a minor scrape or scratch they ask for the Neosporin and a bandaid. My firstaid kit always has Neosporin in it. WONDERFUL PRODUCT.
Neosporin is an at home essential for all cuts, scrapes, etc. You need one of these in your at home medical pack. It's great for kids & sdults alike. I highly recommend buying this product.
The cuticles around one of my thumbs gets infected frequently. I forgot I had Neosporin the other times I've had the infection. When I my tube, I tried on my thumb which had be hurting. I had been in pain for over a week before using the Neosporin. Within a couple of says of using it, the pain was almost gone and the thumb was noticeably improving. I wish I had remembered I that this the previous two times my thumb got infected.
My grandma swore by Neosporin, she was a nurse at one point and felt that this product truly worked wonders. I grew up with this product and whenever I had a splinter, blood blister, scratch, etc... I used it and within days it was nearly gone. When applying, it's easy to use, not dangerous like other products can be, and there was zero pain on the wound with application. Excellent product and I will use it for as long as it's around!
After getting a very nasty third degree burn from a motorcycle tailpipe comma I covered my wound with Neosporin and Band-Aids. After about a week and a half, the skin is healed and the looks good as new. I only wish I could upload the pictures. I'm grateful for this exceptional product.
This individual packages are very convenient. I use it for my emergency backpack and carry with me for “just in case” moments and they are great for sharing.
I've used Neosporin for years while raising my three kids. I always felt better having it on hand for the cuts and scrapes that always happen. I noticed it did help to heal the cuts faster and none of the usual burning so the kids didn't mind it so much. Still keep it on hand for the grand kids now.
They come in small individual little packs it would be nice if the pack had more in it. And I mean the packet that you actually use not the Box. It seems like there would be enough for a cut and scrape but if you got yourself into a slightly bigger Jam for an emergency you would need to open up a couple more packs of those maybe like 4. That's why I'm saying it would be nice if the pat individual packets would have more Neosporin in them.
I bought a 0.5 oz tube at the airport a couple of weeks ago (so paid an arm and a leg), but as a couple other reviewers have mentioned, the design is awful to the point that I haven't been able to get the bottle open. The lid is tiny and tightly sealed, and it's impossible to get enough leverage to open the tube, even with a rag or one of those sticky jar openers. To add insult to injury, I'm not able to return the tube because it was an airport purchase. Neosporin, PLEASE be thoughtful when designing your products! I have no complaints about your antibiotic ointment, but it's not doing me any good stuck in a tube.
We have been a family user of Neosporin for years. I have noticed during the past year the small top/cap is very tight, this latest tube has the top on so tight that the tube is being destroyed trying to open it. Any ideas or should I bin it and change products
