large enough size for pallet dolly and heavy duty enough for any needs i can foresee. it came promptly and was affordable priced for the size and quality of the product. The only problem was the bolts to secure the handles to the plate were square and the holes were round. After a phone call and a visit of metal shop i just hammered them into the aluminum plate as was suggested and it was fine.
This ramp was purchased to assist in our deliveries of Reverse Vending Machines. The dimensions available allowed us to choose the perfect size and capacity. Great product, easy to move and store when not in use.

I am female and not afraid to admit I might choose something to buy just because ?It?s pretty?. So when the guys at work asked me to find a loading ramp to replace the dry rotted wooden one we currently have, I had no idea where to begin from size, weight limits, etc. I searched several products; loading dock, curb ramp, pallet jack ramp? and during my search I came across Guardian Aluminum Dock Plate. My first thought was ?its chrome and orange! I want it!? But knowing there was more to it than just ?pretty colors? I started reading the description and reviews on the plate. The size was perfect, the Slip-resistant, diamond tread surface was going to be a huge improvement safety wise compared to our little wooden ramp, and the plate is easy to move when needed. So, without checking with the guys at work, I ordered the 36? Guardian Aluminum Dock Plate and let me tell you, they were extremely impressed with my selection and this product! Just what I needed, light enough for me to handle, strong enough for me to pull heavy pallets with a pallets jack out of my box truck into the warehouse.
I recently purchased an aluminum dock plate to bridge a gap over a sidewalk discontinuity between a bridge and a sidewalk. The elevation discontinuity (which changes depending on the temperature due to bridge movements) was preventing proper wheel chair travel along this sidewalk. The dock plate was the perfect solution, bolting one end to the sidewalk and letting the other end free to allow the bridge to move as the temperature changes from season to season.
I bought this ramp to help a friend ..He sells wheel weights. The pallets weigh about 2500 pounds. His garage enterance has a two inch step. I left the handles off the ramp and it worked perfect The pallet jack rolled over the step with ease because of the tapered cuts on the high quality ramp. This is one great ramp !!
We have been ordering dock plates from you for years. We needed longer guides and the customer service rep went out of her way to accommodate us. Discount Ramps sent us return labels for us to send the incorrect ramps back and got our new order out asap. These ramps work so well for different size docks and trucks.
If you need a ramp that's heavy and will last a lifetime then this is it. This this is a beast! We use it for our storage container and it's going to be perfect for a long long time.
I had several questions prior to purchasing and reached out to customer service a few times, I got zero response. I was in a bind and ordered the ramp anyway. Product came in 2 separate shipments, the ramp one day, the handle assemblies a few days later. Followed by a response to my previous questions lol.
