This is the lip balm! I had dry, cracked, and bleeding lips. I put Neosporin lip balm on before bed, and the next morning my lips were 95% better!!
I have been using this for several years, and it is an amazing product. If you suffer from dry lips, this product used nightly along with Aquaphor lip repair during the day will solve your problem [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I live in a humid climate but in the winter all the drier air does damage to my skin and especially my lips. I've tried many lip balms from Chap Stick to pricier products like Nivea and the best thing I've found so far is this Neosporin Overnight Lip Renewal cream. Works while you sleep and you will wake with great looking lips. Not easy to find in my local store so I bought it from the Walmart website at a great price.
Keeps lips hydrated for longer time than other lip products. Does not cause my lips to peel. My favorite.
This is a really nice lip cream. It does not sting chapped lips nor does it have a smell or taste. After one use lips looked full, smooth and hydrated. I will be buying again and giving as stocking stuffers this winter.
I have Scjogren's Syndrome, which causes, basically, everything to be dry. Eyes, mouth, skin, etc. Well. I have a collection of about 20 lip balm products. Nothing worked well or for long. I've even used hydrocortisone cream in my desperation. Within a DAY I was able to gently exfoliate the scaling on my lips (which I usually have to peel and they're all blotchy and unevenly red and sore or even bleeding) and I had SOFT LIPS! I can actually use lipstick and liquid lipstick and it's amazing! For a long time I just did a tiny bit of nude liner faded out into the lip and some lip balm. But I can finally wear the bold colors I love! My husband couldn't put his finger on what was different, but I was more confident, that he could tell. I was just happy I didn't have these painful and gross looking lips, and able to wear a lip shade that made me happy and confident. My mom always said, “be the girl brave enough to wear red lipstick,” and for a long time I couldn't be that girl! But I'm back thanks to this! Im going to get the day treatment as well, because I adore this so so much! Note: it's very lightly scented. It makes me think of Froot Loops! It doesn't bother me. It's creamy but not as thick or goopy as I expected. It doesn't make my lips stick together at all, which a lot of overnights tend to do. And a little goes a long way! Also this has a lanolin product on it, so if you can't do sheep products, it may be a miss for you.
I have a serious issue with chapped lips. My doctor actually ordered me to stop using all lip products with the exception of petroleum based products. Enter Neosporin Overnight. This is the only product that doesn't seem to make my chronic chapped lips worse. I'm not addicted to it in a bad way. And I would seriously buy every single tub of it if I ever found out it was being discontinued. My most favorite, can't live without product ever.
Great overnightlip repair
Walmart has the best price I could find. About half the drug store price, but still expensive. Active ingredient is white petroleum jelly which can be purchased in a tube for a fraction of the price per ounce. Unfortunately, I can't convince my wife that the stuff in the tube is the same. She sees it as a cosmetic and long ago fell victim to the marketing pitch that when it comes to cosmetics, the more you pay the better it is.
I have been using it all day, not just at night. When it is on, my lips feel fine. But when it comes time to reapply, I notice the chapped pain feeling. I wouldn't say it is helping the overall problem, just covering it up. Probably wouldn't buy again
