I was worried that the product would make my hair heavy and greasy but it did the complete opposite. After using my hair was silky and my curls were smooth. Honestly, I definitely got away with using less of other products I normally use because this helped tame my frizz as well.
Cantu, sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. I have been using Cantù products for years, the only complaint I had was the way the products would make my hair feel stiff. Well, I was given the opportunity to try their new formula, for free in exchange for a review. This new formula smells the same but after I put it in my hair the first thing I noticed was how soft my hair felt, after adding the product. After my hair dried it was still soooo soft and movable! I'm really satisfied with this new formula and will be buying more when I run out!
So as you can see I have a short cut so I wash every week and perm my sides every 2wks full head 6-8wks. Deep conditioning is a must for me. I use normally would us the ORS Banana pack but I've been trying the Cantù Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream with Shea butter for the last month. It leaves great shine and lightweight on my hair. I've had a really bad dandruff issue all winter and I've seen improvement. This is a 3 in 1 so I even used on both of my daughters locs and it's been a great product for me. I would highly recommend.
I used the product all 3 different ways that were advised, and my favorite way to use it was the leave in mask.. not only did it leave my hair smelling good it helped give it life .. my hair is Damaged from bleaching it so often so its giving moisture
I received this product free in exchange for a review: I love how this product makes my hair feel. It keeps it moisturized and softens my coarse 4c coils. I like that I can either use as a leave in or wash out cobditioner. Its also ample sized so can last for several washes.
Loving the Cantu Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream with Shea Butter, gives my hair the extra conditioning needed, smells great and cream holds onto strands from root to tip.Not greasy but gives a sheen to my hair without being oily and not clogging my hair follicles.
Getting prepared for wash day with my 4c hair takes mental energy and space in my calendar but using this leave-in conditioner makes the process more enjoyable. Using this to prepare my hair for a twistout is a godsend. It helps make myself softer and moisturized. The conditioner has a light texture and it smells so good!! When i wake up in the morning I still smell a bit of it when I'm taking my twists down and fluffing my hair, and I love that. I use coconut oil to take my twists down but they already feel softer with after the leave-in conditioner worked its magic. I received this product for free in exchange for writing a review but I'm a big fan of Cantu products.
I used the Cantù leave in conditioner after washing my hair when damped, before styling and even when air drying. It uplifted my curls and gave my hair moisture. It's very creamy in texture and the smell is very pleasant. It improved my split ends in weeks. I even use it on my sons dry curls and his hair has grown at a faster rate and his hair looks refreshed all day.
I was so excited to receive the product because it is a Leave-In conditioner, which is a very necessary product for my natural 4C product! Sadly it didn't keep my hair moisturized for long but I do love the fact that it is enriched with B Vitamin and has no sulfates, lara and, silicones … etc. And because of that so recommend it 100%. Even though it didn't keep my hair moisturized, maybe it will for another. Like they say "What may not work for me, may work for another". Side bar: Cantu's Packaging is always on point!
While I wanted to love this more because I love the brand. It was pretty basic to me as a deep conditioner. The first time I used it as a deep conditioner, my hair was super soft! The subsequent times, it seemed pretty generic. I feel like it would work well as a leavin when I wear my hair curly. I typically straighten my naturally curly once a week and deep condition my hair prior.
