[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved the monitor since i bought it recently. The picture is very clear with high definition. Colors are bright and vibrant. The wide screen easily allows to open two windows and space for partial 3rd window, making working very easy. I love this screen, which is working very well and has made my work a lot easier.
I purchased this for my home office. The laptop has such a small screen that the monitor makes it so much easier to multi-task and be productive. I would recommend it for anyone for home office.

I have not found the right setup yet until now. This LG Ultrawide monitor is like having two monitors. The extra-wide field of view allows me to multi-task with email on one side and working on docs on the other. The clarity is also amazing and the colors even better. I am so thankful to have found this monitor and can't wait to play a few games on it. The monitor was easy to set up and configure. I would recommend this monitor to colleagues and friends.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monitor was well packaged. The only thing to do is attaching the stand after unboxing. Just snap it on the back of the monitor and hand screw in the stand. Couldn't be easier. Esthetically, this monitor is one of the most attractive and modern looking monitors out there on the market. Design and functionality is very nice and intuitive. The red accent on the monitor stand is very cool. Adjusting the height is so easy and effortless just by lifting the monitor up and pushing down. It did not feel heavy at all. It can also be tilted to adjust the viewing angle. I like the fact that the monitor screen is matte instead of glossy which is great in reducing glare. I have it sit next to the window and had no issues with the glare at all. All the inputs are in the back of the monitor including the headphone jack which I found a bit awkward and a bit inconvenient since I had to turn the monitor to find the jack every time I switch headphone. Having it built to the side of the monitor would have been better in my opinion. However, you can use this port for external speakers via 3.5mm cable which I did. All adjustments are made via a single button underneath the logo which can take some getting used to at first but very intuitive. I had a two-monitor setup before using this LG monitor and at first I thought I would lose a lot of screen real estate but it wasn't the case. All the screen is within my peripheral vision so I didn't feel like I had to constantly turn my head to look from one side to the other. I am using this monitor primarily for work and it is a pleasure to look at excel spreadsheet. I can see many columns at once and having to scroll less. I can open multiple excel files and leave them open on one side of the monitor and look at email on the other. The ability to view and work on multiple files is liberating. I feel more productive. Picture quality is great for its size given it is not even a 4k monitor. Color and contrast (out of the box) are vibrant. Fonts are smooth and easily read. No jagged edge around letters. Surfing the internet and watching movies is a joy. After using it for a week, I prefer it over a two-monitor setup I had. One thing I wished it had is a built-in webcam. Webcam is almost indispensable nowadays due to work from home. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I got the opportunity to test out the LG 29” UltraWide FHD HDR FreeSync Monitor with USB Type C. First off, I didn't know how much a better monitor experience could give and I got to say this blew my expectations away. It was much bigger than I expected and now it's harder for me to use a smaller screen with this one spanning 29 inches. My current monitor is at 15 inches and yet this one feels like it's three times the size. Even having two screens side by side doesn't compare. The full setup took less than 10 minutes before having it connected and exploring the features. So far I've thrown gaming, window multitasking, videos/movies, and 3D CAD design. Each one performed great and using the full real estate of the screen improved each area. For example, I found myself more immersed in my gaming/video experience than before. Also, I love simplistic/modern design with near edge to edge screen and subtle red accent color on the base. Now if only I can work solely from home on my new and vastly improved setup. The setup was simple and straightforward, taking less than 3 minutes from unpacking to plugging it in and working. I love this for my coaching sessions and webinars. I can share my screen on one device, while still being able to communicate with my clients or class, and not sacrifice screen space. I wish it had speakers so I can also use it to watch Netflix. It's the perfect size for watching movies and tv shows. The tilt feature is awesome. It is a little heavy but it slides effortlessly around my desk if I need to re-position it. My other monitor stood a little too high, hurting my neck and back. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a long time now I've used dual monitors to game and work for productivity. I've recently bought a new laptop that is lightweight, but only 13” screen. I wanted more real estate, I I went with the LG 29” Ultrawide which is perfect for my needs. It gives me the added space of two monitors, all in one display. I'm able to have two full sized webpages open side by side at the same time so I don't need to toggle virtual desktops as much. It gives me the flexibility to have an external keyboard and mouse and simulate a desktop experience when I don't need the portability of my laptop all from one monitor instead of two. Games on the display are amazing, bright and nice response time. I've never owned an ultra wide monitor before, but after this I don't think I'll ever go back. Haven't used it with my drawing display yet, but I can't wait to use them together for better clarity on my references I use to draw from.
Picture and performance are great. The one-button on/off/menu selector on the bottom of the display is actually a pretty good design. The only issue I have is with warranty registration: On LG's website you have to select a model number from a drop-down menu, and this display is not listed. #sweepstakes
