Hello, I am a Walmart Sparks Reviewer, and today I will be doing a review on the Revlon Youth FX Fill Plus Blur Concealer, 03 Color Light Medium. This concealer has a light texture and can be easily put under the eyes and nose. You can easily apply by using the click pen applicator, which has a very soft cotton tip, and a removable top that can be pull off and placed back on to keep the cotton part from drying out. It has a very silky texture that's not too thick, and when applied it will not show the fine lines and details on your face. Since it is a pen size, I like the fact that you can carry it around in your purse and use it anytime and anywhere. Also, the color label on the pen identifies what color you are buying. The only part that I didn't like is the numerous times I had to click in order to get the concealer to the applicator cushion. Also, I would like to see this applicator pen in a clear bottle so that way I would know when I am running out of the concealer and need to buy more. Overall, it is an excellent concealer to hide the fine lines and wrinkles.
The Revlon Youth FX Fill and Blur concealer does a great job hiding dark circles, darker spots, creases and other blemishes. The color actually blended well onto my skin and with my foundation it provided a nice even look. The concealer feels light weight on my skin and not heavy like other concealers seem to feel. The applicator is a click pen type. Just click the bottom of the pen to prime it and then the sponge will fill up with the concealer. I wouldn't click too much as you don't want to over fill the sponge and have excess concealer. The little sponge on the tip of the pen does a nice job of spreading the concealer onto your face, under your eyes and blotting blemish spots. I use the sponge to apply it but I use my fingers to smooth it around. Of course if you have a blender sponge separate from the concealer sponge that should work just fine. A little concealer goes a long way. The shade of this concealer is light 02. The container is .11 ounces. There is a slight scent to this concealer but it is not bad. I like that it isn't very strong scented like my last concealer. Overall, I am very happy with this product and I do recommend it.
My teenage girls use this product every time they do make-up. It works great at covering up acne, bags under your eyes, and blemishes. When you first take the cap off of this product, there is a soft spongy like tip that makes it fill and blur better. To get the product out, click the button at the other end of the stick until you start to see the product start to come out of the tip. The very first time you try to click out the concealer, it seems like its not working, but it does come out so just try to shake it up a little to help it flow out faster. My daughters love this product and it looks great.
This review is for the Ivory. I have only used high end mineral foundation for over 10 years so this is a first for me in a very long time. I would say this is a medium coverage foundation. I have applied this with my fingers and with a sponge. I found it is easier to apply with my fingers. After I apply this I put mineral powder foundation over it to set the FX. They work extremely well together. I love the end result of using both of these. It is very natural looking. I can't really say if it reduces the appearance of wrinkles, as I am blessed of not having any and I look much younger than I am. I have only put on one coat, so I am not sure how it builds, but it does go on very easy. I do use a face primer before the foundation so I am not sure if that is a contributor or not. I love the way this color blends with my skin tone. When I take this product off at night, I find it easy to remove. The only con that I have noticed is that I think it is drying out my face. This isn't terrible, but if it gets worse, unfortunately I will have to discontinue use. I would definitely recommend this foundation.
I received this product as a sample to try and unfortunately I don't read the description. It came in Deep color and I usually use Ivory. Needless to say I am most like not going to use it unless I get a really dark sun tan. Nevertheless I tried it on my face just to see how well it works in concealing stuff. Overall the product is nice, it seems to cover things you don't want on your face pretty well. You just need a few dabs and rub it a little on the spot and it works. I like the bottle design, it looks like a pen, it even clicks like a pen. So you can literally ‘draw' on your face. I would recommend this product.
I really liked this concealer, although it took some doing to get the liquid to start flowing to the tip, I had to press the button on the bottom several times, I almost gave up, but finally it worked and I was glad it did. The tip is very soft and blends the concealer very evenly, and does not put too much concealer on, just enough for what you need but you can always add more if you want. As for the color it still seems a little on the tan side, I have very fair skin and I wish it was a little lighter, but it is not enough to make a big difference as long as you blended it well.
I got to try this concealer and was pretty happy about it. I'm always up for trying new makeuo and concealer is something that's hard to get right. I have very fair cool toned skin, I am 31 years old and I have combination skin. This concealer i have to say worked pretty well. Its on the dryer side so it's a little hard to blend if you don't get it blended out right away. I both liked and disliked the sponge tip applicator. I liked that it was smaller for a more precise application, but I don't like that you can't really clean and sanitize it. I would much rather use a brush that I can clean, or my fingers for concealer application. The bottom of the tube clicks to dispense product. I found this to be convenient, if it had worked well, but it didn't. It took a bunch of clicks to get any product, and since the tube is not clear there is absolutely no way to gauge how much product you are using or going through. The coverage is light, but nice. I didn't have any creasing or issues with it rubbing off or separating. It's a pretty good drugstore concealer.
This concealer was a hit and a miss for me. The soft tip applicator was a nice surprise and it was very comfortable to use, especially under my eyes where the skin is very sensitive. It was easily applicable to any blemishes that I had as well as my freckles. To get the concealer out of the applicator was a bit exhausting. I was clicking the button for a few minutes before it came out and completely covered the tip. The color didn't seem to work as great on my skin tone. I have a uniquely olive skin tone with a yellow base. I first tested this product on my hand against my previously purchased concealer from a different brand. Immediately, this concealer just soaked into my skin and I could see my skin lines on my hand. Well no surprise, but it did the same thing on my face. It dried incredibly fast, but it also dried out the skin where it was applied. Due to my combination oily skin, I did not mind it not being oily, but it was just too dry. Once I applied my top coverage on my face looked chalky and dry. I was not a fan, so I immediately removed and went back to my previous brand.
Revlon Youth FX Fill + Blur Concealer Deep, 0.11 fl oz I'm not usually someone who normally uses makeup, but I went on ahead and order the revlon youth FX + blur concealer deep. On the day that I got it, I immediately washed my face to try it out. I had small mark on my face from a pimple. I assumed that since this was a concealer it would fade it out so that it would not be as visible or erase I as it were all together unless until I washed my face. Unfortunately I was disappointed. It lighten up a little a very little. I guess it is meant for very small and extremely light blemishes. That being said it did not completely work for me. I even tried it on the fine lines on my forehead, but it did not work on them either. So I have to say that the revlon youth FX fill +blur concealer deep was a complete fail for me at this point in time. Maybe one day I will reuse the product when I have something lighter that I would like to cover up, or in combination with something else. Since I have not done that at this time I can only recommend this with reservations. This would be due to its inability to cover up or blur real blemishes on my face. This may not be the case for others who attempt to use this product.
I LOVE the consistency and coverage of this product. The problem is the applicator. From the first use it starts falling apart. By the 2nd use, the foam from the applicator is in pieces all over my face and the plastic tip is exposed. By the 3rd use it is completely gone and I have to pump it out onto a separate sponge to use. Do better Revlon.
