Revlon nude foundation. I wasn't sure how the color would turn out since I'm pale. I love it. It's perfect for my skin. It has really good coverage for freckles. It lasts all day. It's easy to wash off but doesn't wear off with everyday normal use. I have sensitive skin and I didn't have a reaction to this product. I am surprised it works so well for a relatively low price. I hadn't used many Revlon products until I got a couple from spark review, they have completely changed my impression of them. When I was able to pick the product they had foundation color that would match almost any skin tone. Very good product.
Leave the cap on. Shake the container. Dab the first few times to get liquid to the top of the applicator. I was skeptical but once I got the right stroke motion I couldn't believe how smooth and even the look became. I do like like this foundation. No caked on look. Not heavy. Very natural and nice coverage. The aroma is very faint, pleasant. Feels like you're not wearing makeup after it's applied. My time was even and my skin was soft. I used it after my daily moisturizer. Washed off with soap and water.
I absolutely love the design of this Revlon Photo-Ready Insta-Filter Foundation! It makes such practical sense to include a spongy applicator attached to the bottle. It saves time and makes it so convenient to use. It does take a few minutes to shake and get enough product through the spongy end before applying it to my face, because I was keen not to get the sponge too overly-saturated for fear of the foundation coming out too runny and messy. It helps to apply it with a light touch and add more coverage as needed. I find that I didn't need as much product and I loved using the spongy applicator to dab on. I use a fresh blending sponge to smooth over the coverage. I would rate the opacity of the foundation as above average. Overall, a terrific product that I would recommend to anyone wanting to simplify their makeup routine in the morning.
I received this product free from Walmart Spark Reviewer to review. This product, Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter Foundation, 150 Buff, 0.9 fl oz at first had a drying effect on my face until I got the hang of how to use the applicator correctly. One of my bad habits, is to not read the information about how to apply the products until I have actually already have applied it. I then discovered that by simply turning the bottom of the applicator, it released the Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter Foundation that is blended perfectly to go on smoothly. The foundation dried to a flawless-finish that made the skin on my face feel taut and youthful all day long. This foundation has a built-in blender and it comes in a full range of high-definition shades. Unfortunately, I chose a shade that was too pale for my olive skin. I would recommend trying it in the store prior to purchase to avoid my mistakes. Despite my faux pa, I highly recommend the Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter Foundation.
My first time ever using this product and am I very impressed. The bottle has a sponge on top and the foundation comes through as the bottom of the bottle is twisted. No messy hands when applying it. The sponge is used for applying and the foundation is creamy , light and covers great.I enjoyed how this applied to my skin and how I looked after. I would recommend this product.
I used this foundation and really Like the sheerness and coverage. However the applicator needs work. Basically you have to twist until it comes up into the sponge that is attached. This takes awhile to get it completely saturated. A normal applicator would bemy preference if they redesign the packaging!
Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter Foundation #220 Natural Beige is really a nice way to put on foundation the attached sponge makes it eaiser to put on. Before using this I would recommend you exfoliate your skin jus to make sure its clean and ready. It goes on so smooth!
I haveto admit I do not own any Revlon foundations. I have been missing out. First of all, all other foundations that I own need to be mixed together to match my skin tone. This is the first foundation I have ever owned that matched me perfectly on its own. I was shocked. The color is perfection. Now lets discuss application. This also goes on like a dream. Blends effortlessly. I use a a flat kabuki style brush to distribute to product, pressing it in areas where I need more coverage then feathering it outward. I then go over areas where the product may gather such as around the nose, between the eyebrows etc. with a dampened makeup sponge. This foundation looks like my skin but better. No it does not cover every imperfection, but is anyone's complexion completely flawless? No unless you're a newborn baby. The wear time is a solid 8 hours when set with a loose powder. It does not oxidize so there is no orange or yellow undertones to deal with. It is not totally matte which is great because it makes you look “ real”. I am telling everyone about this foundation and I will definitely repurchase this product. The only downside is the sponge applicator. I did not find it useful as a applicater on the skin but I did like how I could pick the product up off the sponge onto my brush or damp makeup sponge. I am not taking away points for the applicator due to it being so useful. Overall I throughly enjoyed this foundation and actually look forward to using it.
The idea of this sponge applicator foundation sounds great, but the overall design needs to be redone. The color matches and blends well, but the dispensing system leaves little control of how much you get at a time and once used, the sponge stays cold and wet. The directions states to shake well, but it doesn't seem to have an effect on the foundation being dispensed. There should be blender beads inside the bottle to make a difference, perhaps. Also, there is not a way to tell how much foundation is left in the bottle. If you like using a sponge applicator to apply foundation, I recommend just buying the sponges separately to be able to clean and dispose. If you do not like the sponge method, stick to applying and blending with your fingers. Either way, I would not recommend using the sponge applicator/liquid foundation all-in-one after trying it myself.
This is my review for the new foundation by Revlon. It is called Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter foundation. It comes in a 0.91 fluid ounce bottle. My color choice was number 150/buff. I was so excited to try this new PhotoReady foundation because I needed to take some photos for a Christmas project. I read the instructions on the back of the bottle and shook it up real well. I then turned the bottom of the bottle until the foundation came up to the top. It took me approximately 25 turns for the foundation to appear. The bottle has a really neat sponge applicator on the top of the bottle. The applicator has a hole right in the middle that allows the foundation to come up through it. I tried to use the sponge applicator to apply my foundation. It did not go on well at all. It was very chalky and did not spread easily. I tried again and still got the same results. I decided to try using my fingers to apply the foundation and it still felt chalky, did not spread easily, and did not provide hardly any coverage. I am giving the Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter foundation only 1 star. I did not like the chalky feel of the foundation, I did not like how it did not spread easily on my face, and I did not like the coverage it provided.
