The bronze color is definitely dark but not black. The glass is very clear. I have seen some makes that are distorted. I enjoy the length of the extendible swing arm. I don't have to lean in as much as with the stand model that I had prior to this purchase. The bulb is also replaceable. As for the 5x magnification, it is exactly what I was looking for. A greater magnification requires that you get very close to mirror to focus. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
We stayed in up scale hotel recently, they had these mirrors in bath room, wife liked them so we got make/model from hotel's mirror and ordered them. Just exactly what I ordered/wanted, item was on sale and free shipping because I ordered two of them. Arrived ahead of schedule also. Could not be more pleased.
This lighted, wall-mount mirror is superb! The color is fantastic. It is easy to mount on the wall. The light is great. The two magnification sides of the mirror is awesome. I ordered this because it was $60 cheaper than other stores. The quality is really good. I strongly recommend this mirror.
easy to install
I love my new mirror. It's perfect for make up application and matches my bathroom decor nicely. I would have loved the light to be brighter but I can purchase a bulb myself. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
I used a mirror like this at a resort that I stayed at and have wanted one since then. The magnifier side makes putting in and removing my contacts much easier. I can see better when applying mascara also. Installation was quick and easy. I like the coiled cord for wall plug in. I'm very pleased and would recommend this to friends.

This light was easy to install and does its job well. It has a power cord that is spiraled like a telephone cord which keeps it out of the way. The finish matches our bathroom perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for. The light could be a bit brighter, but since it is being used in the bathroom, this doesn't bother my wife at all. She loves it and uses it all the time.
Purchased this for my wife because every time we stayed in a hotel somewhere she mentioned how well she liked them. So she loves it. She hasn't complained at all but I think the light could be a bit brighter. Overall easy installation and grat look.
This mirror is a beautiful piece w/ perfect, undistorted magnification; however, DON'T waste your money on buying it as a "Lighted" mirror. The bulb is soooo dim and casts a yellow/green hue that I can't use it lit. The bummer is that my husband hard wired it for me. Now we are on the search for a different bulb w/ hopes of not having to ditch it.
