Now that my eye sight is going, I found myself in need of a better mirror to help me see when applying makeup. This mirror helps a lot. Good quality product, works great.
I love the fact that you can switch from the regular center mirror to a 5X magnification mirror. And the triple mirrors is a bonus. The mirror has excellent lighting. I had a mirror like this years ago, but was never able to find a replacement in any stores. Thank you Walmart.com!
Bought this as a gift for my teenage daughter. She checked out all the light settings and decided which was for what... then she used it to apply her make-up and Loved It! This is an affordable item that will impress any woman, young or old.
I love this mirror. I have used this exact mirror for 15 years or more. I finally had to replace my old one after 8 years. The brightness of the light bulbs are superior compared to the conair makeup mirror. The 5x magnification is perfect for applying eye makeup as opposed to 10x magnification which is way to much!! Love the side panels which i use to check my foundation on the sides of my face after applying. It folds, has an electrical outlet on the front, what more can i wish for.
Excellent design. I can see from ear to ear with the fold-out mirrors. I can check my makeup transition from my face to my neckline 360 degrees. I can even see inside one ear using the mirror on the opposite side. Lighting works great! Plug in front is great for curling iron or charging cell phone.
When my old Clairol make up mirror died a few weeks ago, I was devastated to find out that they stopped making them around 1977. I said it was old-- (guess that makes me old-ish too--LOL) It worked great for probably 2+ decades! When I started searching online, I couldn't believe it when I found this Jerdon Tri-Fold. It is almost identical to "old faithful". The only difference that I could tell is that this mirror pivots up & down, instead of side to side. I wish I could upload a picture of the Old Mirror vs. the New Mirror next to each other. I usually keep the lighting feature on the daylight setting. My eyes aren't the same as back in the 70's, so I really like the Magnification feature these days. The only disadvantage is that the light bulbs cannot be replaced--but if this one lasts as long as my last make-up mirror--it will probably outlive me. LOL
Bought this as a replacement for an old makeup mirror that was almost identical in design. This one works better, is lighter, and has better magnification. If you are looking for good, adjustable light, excellent magnification, easy full-face view and easy operation, this is for you. I used the "ship to local store" option and was very pleased with the easy process and excellent service at my local store.
This product is a neat concept with the day/office/night/home lighting adjustments, unfortunately the light just isn't very bright at all no matter which setting you use. I still have to have an additional light source to use with this which was disappointing. But I do like having the tri-fold mirror and the magnification is good. I would recommend to a friend for the mirror function only and as long as they were aware of the light issue.
I ordered a new makeup mirror when my old one quit working. I tried Conair first but the lighting was so dim it didn't really work. So I tried this Jerdon one. While the lighting on this one is far superior the magnifying mirror image is so distorted I can't use it. I need the magnifying mirror because I can't put my makeup on with my glasses on. So I say get this mirror if you don't need the magnification otherwise I would pass on it.
Purchased this mirror to replace one that I have just like it. My old mirror has a problem with the on/off switch no longer working. I liked the mirror, so purchased the same one as a replacement. When I got the new mirror home it doesn't work. Same switch issue. I've returned this mirror and am currently looking for a different brand. I would not recommend this product at all. When it initally quit working we assumed it was the light bulbs. And discovered you can't buy replacement bulbs.
