I have used 2 or 3 colors for years! Easy to use, smudges easily with the soft tip to soften the look for adult women! Now I cant find 2 of the 3 shades I use! I have now bought several other Maybelline eye liners and none compare and I would return them if I could! Chestnut brown and Brownish Black are the best for women who are not trying to look like they are teens!
I dont wear this product as an eye liner, but I absolutely love it for an eyebrow pencil. I've been using this product for decades and I hope it isn't being discontinued. The brownish black is perfect for my eyebrows. I love that I don't have to sharpen anything and it is easy for me to shape my brows with this product.
I have been using this eyeliner for years and it is by far my favorite. I have tried other brands and nothing touches this eye liner. I am so so upset that stores no longer sell it and if anyone at Maybelline actually reads this I would love it if you would let me know how I can get my hands on more of this eye liner in slate gray.
Good price, Softer than what I am used to, but worked.
I've been using the define-a-line eyeliner pencil for years, but now I'm having an allergic reaction within a few hours of putting it on. At least three times now I've opened a new eyeliner and within hours start having symptoms similar to conjunctivitis (itching, burning, red, mucus that keeps coming back). I thought maybe there is some coating that I'm reacting to because it always happens after I first use a new one, so I opened one today, used a napkin to hopefully get past the coating, then applied. Now, a few hours later I'm having the symptoms again. Did they change something about the formula recently??? I love the way it goes on, but it does smear easily, and now with this reaction I will have to switch brands.
I bought this for the first time about a week ago and I'm trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, but no matter what I do or which eyelids this is on, it's smudges like nothing I've ever used before. I don't touch my eyes after I do my makeup, there's no reason for it to smudge.
Been a fan of Maybelline for years. Decided to try Define-A-Line because it was on sale. Caused red seeping eyes for 2 days after stopping use. Never happened before so did not attribute to product. Wore it a second time with same painful results. Product also ran horribly. Required multiple touch ups during wear. Will never buy product again!
This is one of the worst eyeliners I have ever used. The color of it is very rich and black, but that is the only good thing about it. I used it to tightline my upper lash line, and for the rest of the day it is literally smudging off onto my undereye area. I have rarely used any products in my life that give 'raccoon eyes.'I even tried putting UDPP (eye shadow primer) under my eyes and a lot of eyeshadow to try and keep it in place, but NOTHING helps. Really disappointing because I tend to like Maybelline products a lot. This eyeliner is terrible, terrible, terrible. I'm going to just end up throwing it out.
This is the only eyeliner I've used for the past 5-6 years and thought it was amazing until out of no where it started causing my eyes to become insanely red and irritated every time I use it. Maybe they made a new formula? Anyhow, the morning after wearing this eyeliner, my eyes will be crusted shut when I wake up and red for the whole day in reaction to this eyeliner. It looks nice for about an hour before irritation occurs, but it simply isn't worth the price your eyes pay the next day.
This product smudges like crazy for me! It found itself in the garbage after two weeks of attempting to make it work. I also experienced burning and reddening of my eyes. (which has never happened to me before) I am usually a Maybelline fan but found this product to be way below my expectations.
