The shadow is splendid, highly pigmented and long lasting. It is apparently out of production, hence the $50 cost for this on other sites. The supplier, BBBliss, deserves 10 stars for how they safely package and deliver eye shadows. Because they are so highly pigmented, they crack easily. This arrived completely protected and in perfect shape.
Purple Icon is honestly the only palette I've ever used since I was about 16 and now that I'm 21 I'm horribly upset that it is discontinued! I've used this makeup for my belly dancing stage makeup since it holds so well, as well as my every day makeup because the shimmer is amazing. I've been trying to find a substitute and I just can't find anything comparable!
I had looked at eye shadow for the holidays. I wanted a light gold and there were not many choices and the big palettes had many colors that I would not use. This one is a good size, price and selection of colors.
I got the purple pallet and they are all very pretty and don't cake up in the crease of my eye lid. I definitely recommend this to anyone.
The colors are what I was after. Good product! However, despite the multiple layers of bubble wrap (couldn't have wrapped it with anymore protect) it still came with the main color broken and a mess. It makes me wonder if the product was already broken upon wrapping in bubble wrap.
I love this eye shadow! You get four colors that look great together or alone. This shadow is easy to use and lasts all day. Great value for the price.
I have been wearing the give me gold palette for at least 8 or 9 years. I can't even tell you how many compliments I get on my eyes. the best part is that it never creases or smudges and the color stays vibrant until you take it off. I am so disappointed that this line is no longer in stores. I wish we could have it back. I've tried so many other palettes, Maybelline and other brands and nothing compares to this.
Nice colours that blend with many attires
Very shimmery, which is not good for most older women. I bought the copper quad and loved the colors, but when I put it on it was horrible. But on my daughter who is 25 with auburn hair, fair skin, and light blue eyes, it was WOW! She used it with some medium pink eye shadow on the inner portion of her eyelids and it looked fantastic. So it was well worth the money.
The colors looks so pretty in the package and I was so excited to try this but the actual color is not as it appears in the pallet. The white shade is horrid and very chalky. There is so much fall out with each of the colors and they do not appear with the nice taupey wine shade as the look. The last color is extremely dark. The second and third shade are very pretty but not what I purchased. Although I do like the 2nd and 3rd they are not good quality either. There is just too much fall out, they crease easily and do not look good on the lid.
