I used the Burgundy on my medium brown/20% gray hair and the color payoff was great! The fade has been surprisingly pretty as well! Very happy with my experience.
I was so surprised that it worked! Yes, my pillow is greenish/teal. Yes, the water still rinses green when I shampoo. But, it's teal hair dye--that's to be expected! I put my hair in a high pony, then applied the dye to just the pony tail. I had to comb it through cause I have thick hair. I love it!! PS I only shampoo once a week, so that helps keep the color fresh.
Used a combination of colorista midnight blue and metallic fuchsia for the base color. Highlights were done with metallic fuchsia, metallic blue and turquoise. My hair feels soft, not brittle or sticky like some other dyes I've used in the past
I dyed my hair on 2/26, using the burgundy color. My hair is a fairly light brown so I figured it would stay nice. And so far it has stayed very nice, however it has very quickly gone from purple to teal-green. It still looks cool, but I'm a little disappointed that the purple didn't stay longer. Note: I do perm my hair, but the last perm I got was labor day weekend, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Never dyed my hair before, so that's not the issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a naturally blonde with professionally dyed blonde balayage. I purchased the pink color and absolutely loved it! It came out in about 5 washes. About 3 months later, I purchased the indigo color. As soon as I put it on, it was a deep purple. I thought that was odd but didn't really think anything of it. I liked the color, then it faded to a dark blue, then a light blue, and now i've been stuck with an ugly greenish/pale blue color for about 2 months. I absolutely hate it. If I would've known the only option to getting this color out was expensive professionals and damaging bleach, I would have never bought it. It has been 87 days and I'm sitting here with greenish/pale blue hair, very annoyed.
Dyed my hair shaft after months of being washed out and wasnt really visible in my hair. When getting my hair professionally done it made my hair pink with nothing recently put on it. THANK GOD i was going to a burgundy color anyway but had a scare!
I purchased “Midnight Blue” and my hair is BRIGHT ELECTRIC BLUE! Not what I wanted at all. Not what the product advertised. I'm in tears I hate the color so much. I don't know what to do other than soak my head in a bucket to try and remove the color quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this yesterday because I thought I'd give it ago because it's something I've always wanted to try. I have really dark hair, but it said "visible on all hair types". So I followed the instructions (I was going for an ombre), and after wasting all that time and money, my hair was exactly the same. To be truthful, it has made it a little darker, but not "teal". I'm so mad and will definitely be getting my money back.
i have light blonde hair and i bought the blue for my hair. i used the pink one not took long ago and it looked so cute and cane out in a week. i used the blue about a month ago and it looked so so pretty. i wash my hair about every other day and after 2 weeks and 10+ washes it still looked exactly the same. its been over a month now and its still there and how it was when i first dyed it. i bought the remover and nothing change. i do not want to bleach my hair again nor do i want to spend money to get it fixed. great product if you want blue hair forever!!
My 5 yr old wanted a fun color for the summer. We bought the teal, thinking it would washed out within 10 washes… 10 washes in and its still deeply there. She had beautiful light blonde hair, and now I'm afraid its stuck unless we bleach her hair, which I so do not want to do. Any help would be appreciated.
