I did a test line on my hand before using on Friday when I bought it. After taking two showers and washing my hands dozens of times since, the line is still there (today is sunday) ! The brush is thin and a bit flimsy, but once you get the hang of that, it works amazing. my liner looks so nice (my eyes tend to get watery throughout the day due to allergies) and it hasn't budged, even after wiping my eye accidentally because I was sleepy. I used a makeup removing cleansing balm and it helped remove it from my eyes, so try not to scrub too hard when cleansing.
I like the vibrant color and it comes lighter than the box but it's still worth the price. Definitely waterproof but a bit difficult to remove with makeup remover wipes. It does stain but to be expected. Love this liner!
This product really opens up the possibilities for my creativity. I usually don't use it for an actual liner much - that is, I'll use it for my bottom lid, but not the top due to having closer folds and therefore easily forgetting to keep my eyes hooded until it dries and smearing it. But once it /does/ dry, it's /on/. Only scrubbing with a loofah or makeup remover reliably takes it off; not even sleeping on it will remove [all] of it.
I'm a goth, and absolutely love this eyeliner! It's my go-to, especially if I'm going anywhere humid/wet. Locks into place, won't budge under regular soap and water. Since I try to avoid rubbing at my skin a lot, I use a CeraVe oil cleanser to break up the eyeliner soft makeup cloth to wipe it off.
This review is for the NYX Epic Wear liquid liner. It is waterproof and lasted all day. Because it's a liquid liner the tip is a brush instead of a traditional pencil. There's a little bit of a learning curve when switching to liquid but the color is so much blacker with the liquid. I also like that you can use this as a body paint.
Long-wearing, highly-pigmented liner -- best I've tried for the $$$. Good range of colors. If you're used to doing a cateye, this is terrific -- only issue is transfer may be hard to clean up if you don't allow liner to dry adequately after application. Product is long-lasting value for wear and contents of tube, but you may not be completely happy with results from tubes open for a longer time than for very regular use (tends to dry out a bit too quickly for this user).
This is a decent eyeliner for the price. It is easy to put on and glides on nice and smoothly. The color is vibrant and it is easy to make it as thick or as thin as you like. Mine did smudge a bit especially when trying to make wings but was easily fixed. I did notice that it washed off easily with just water so I'm not sure how waterproof you can say it is.
I wanted to try this product because it was waterproof and it's hard to find brown and waterproof in an eyeliner. I did not like the applicator brush. I felt that it was too thin and did not apply well. It was hard to get it to go smooth because the point was too fine ,however once I did get it on, it did not want to come off. So the waterproof part worked well.
So I'm not a fan of this eye liner. It feels sticky on my eyelid. I was not able to smoothly apply the liner. It felt like it was dragging across my eyelid. The more I tried to fix it the thicker and darker it got. I like to have a thin liner and I could not achieve that with this brand. The price was fine. The color was accurate. The brush is a fine point tip which is nice just was not a good fit for me
Wanted to find a waterproof liner for a pool summer but this is not it. Brush is too large for a clean application. Could not even get to my lid without getting all over my lashes. As a long time daily liquid liner user I was shocked at how difficult this was to apply cleanly and I did not succeed as pictured. Also impossible to remove despite scrubbing with reusable makeup remover cloths
