I am not much of a lipstick wearer and usually just wear the original Burt's Bees or Burt's Bees honey lip balm- until I bought the lip shine, lip crayon, and gloss. Love these products so much- they are the only make up I wear on my lips! Doesn't feel sticky and smells pretty nice too! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought the Blush Lip Shine after I received the Lip Shine in Wink as a gift. I LOVE this stuff. It gives me enough color. I really like this shade. I typically wear it when I run errands and don't want full lipstick (I'm more of a lip gloss kind of gal anyway). It makes my lips feel soft and isn't sticky. I used lipgloss/chapstick all of the time. Once I tried this lip shine, I was sold. As soon as i come close to running out, i'll go get another one. I recently lost it, and noticed how quickly my lips began to peel and crack. I just found it 2 days ago, and it has already started helping regain the moisture back in my lips. Don't get me started on the smell either. "Whisper" is delicious! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
I love this lip gloss. It truly is moisturizing and doesn't dry. my lips out like the other burts bees lip tube and other products. Please don't ever stop making this! I've used it for years, and I searched for many years trying to find a lip gloss that works this well. It truly is a great product to keep on hand or use on top of your lip color to add moisture. I use it daily and love it!
I wear this every day. It goes on smoothly and stays on for a few hours at least. This is seriously one of the best lip products that I have ever tried, and I will continue using this in new shades over time; my favorites are whisper and peachy by a mile.
Please don't ever discontinue this product. I adore Smooch the most and it is similar to Clinique's "Black Honey" but simply better! This shade is so flattering and the product itself is moisturizing. I own at least two of this color so I always have one nearby! Thx, Burt's Bees!
This is some of the best gloss I've ever used. Like most women, I too have tried numerous brands. This does moisturizer my lips and adds a naturally pretty flush of color. I have no idea why Wink is no longer offered. Whisper looks like it. I am hopeful it's the same. If not, I will have to find another lip gloss, which of course is super annoying.
For such a dark color, it really is not that pigmented. It still has a pretty color when applied, it's just a lot lighter than expected. It is slightly sticky and doesn't have the most comfortable feeling. It smells amazing though.
It doesn't matter how good the product is, if you can't actually buy it. The avocado oil version of this was fabulous, but apparently is discountinued. Multiple attempts to purchase unsuccessful. So going back to the original, color says “join waitlist.” Which I tried multiple times on the avocado oli version, to no effect. This is one of the few BB products that doesn't have flavor, so I guess it's time to look for a new product.
My favorite shade of these lip shines is in the shade Wink. I can no longer find it in stores but it's one of the only lip shines I use as a topper for so many lipsticks. It's the perfect shade of pink. I'm running low and can't seem to find them in stores, I'm assuming it's discontinued? I would love it if Burt's Bees would PLEASE consider bringing it back. Hope to get a response.
