Easy assembly , comes almost built you just to hook it to the wall . Sturdy . Soon as i put it my dog knew it was to keep her on the other side lol
Took me a while to figure all the moving parts - but once I figured it out, it works perfectly for our needs. I will be ordering 2 more as we have young puppies and we need to keep them contained to certain parts of the house.
I love it! It was easy to assemble and works perfectly for me and my puppy. I love the access to walk in and out of the gate. Great for pets and kiddos. The photo doesn't include an extra piece for wider entry way.
It is attractive and functional. Keeps the dogs away from cat food!!! How awesome!
Ordered two gates. One was flawed in that the adjustment screw wouldn't go into the hole all the way. There was a blockage probably from the soldered joint on the inside. Fortunately the spot I needed it installed required an extension panel (included are two sizes) and that worked well - actually, because I ordered 2 gates I used two of the narrow extensions - one from each gate- instead of the larger one. The second gate worked perfectly in a regular doorway. The small pet door works both directions and can be latched closed. Note that the big gate only opens in one direction. AND that the gate does not APPEAR to close properly UNTIL you have the ends tightened enough. It really does work. You can do the gate with one hand but it isn't that easy to do. I have done it though. Takes a bit of practices. Really easy with two hands. Close and lock with one hand easily. All in all a great gate for the money and does the job of letting adults through the gate, letting the cat get to the kitty litter and keeping the three year old out of the bathroom and kitty litter! I would definitely purchase a third if I found the need or if I needed a baby shower gift!
I like that is made well. It has a extension for a wider door way. I did not like the mounting bracket, requiring to drill holes. But it does hold firmly without the mounting post brackets. I specifically want pressure mount only. It can stand to be improved. But works strong without the mounted brackets so far. I world have given 5 stars for a better mount design. The convenience of the opening gate is a winner. The gate works excellently. Just be careful not to trip on bottom cross bar when going through gateway. I would buy again unless there is something better.
I bought this gate to keep my roommates larger dog out of my room. The dog weighs around sixty pounds, and ate my smaller dog's special food. Among other issues, he'd often devour her food in a blink and being disabled getting some replacement isn't easy. I call the gate peaches's shark gate lol. It's pure perfection after I got past a little .As pictured a small cat or dog can use it and it keeps the. Larger out. There are only 2 issues. one the door does t swing both ways. Which would be helpful when arms are full. Second it took me getting help to get the tenson bolts into place so the gate could close. Other wise I love it...
It was impossible to assemble since there was about an inch and a half gap between the gate and the latch. Aa
The mounting pin, “H”, does not fit through the hole on the “A” gate frame on the unit we received. Can’t get past step 3 of assembly as a result
The spots where the gates are welded at the top are so weak. I only used them two weeks when the welds popped loose at the corners and two of the three gates I purchased completely lost their integrity and fell apart.
