I bought this food for my dog recently, she loves it but the reviews had me concerned. None of the affordable dog food has a good review. I sincerely hope I'm not damaging her kidneys or liver by feeding her this, I hope Pedigree is a brand I can trust.
For years I've been giving my large Labrador retrievers Gravy Train. They wasnt looking healthy and they stop eating it.. They lost fur on their elbows. I switch to Alpo. They ate it but I had to mix my chicken or something with it. They sometimes ate around it. The older Lap lost a lot more fur. He passed on. I notice his son elbows. He had lost his beautiful black shine and stop eating Alpo. I would mix and even stop mixing to make him really hungry. He just wouldn't eat. No matter what I did. One day my husband' friend's dog passed on and he gave my husband a new bag of Pedigree. It sat there for days until one day I gave my Lap a bowl of it. He ate it so fast without mixing anything with it. A few days later we bought him a large bag. I notice his fur coming back on his elbows. He's happy, healthy and shiny again. This is the best canned dog food! My dogs engulf this food and they prefer it over any other canned food and it doesn't give them the gas that other brands do! Thank you pedigree!
I have 5 dogs and I mix their wet & dry foods for their meals. They love the Pedigree wet foods far better than some others we have tried.
Choice Cuts is always a hit, whatever flavor I serve. Dishes are licked clean!
I HAVE TWO CHIHUAHUAS. I HAVE USED PEDIGREE FOR YEARS. ALL DIFFERENT TYPES. MY GIRLS LOVE THE FOOD AND THAT IS WHY I KEEP USING IT. THEY HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT.
My babies absolutly love the pedigree stew..they eat it up.
My dogs typically eat dry dog food (it's more cost effective) but every now and again, I feed them canned dog food with a spoon as a "treat". They think it's awesome, like Christmas for puppies year round. I will say that I currently prefer Pedigree wet food to other brands because it smells significantly better than other brands I have bought. My dogs will eat anything, so for us it comes down to price and smell. This is the best of both.
I have tried a variety of foods for my dog. She likes Pedigree, but she will not eat the Pedigree chunky food. I have no idea why, because she will eat other brands of chunky food.
Got this as a gift from a so called friend. Looked at the ingredients and saw flour and salt as the top 9. What am I baking bread here or feeding my dog? Then I looked at all the synthetic minerals added due to all the nutrition being cooked out of this food. I looked at my pup and told him " Even though you chewed up my favorite sofa I still don't hate you enough to feed you this food"
