Pedigree Chicken and Rice "CHUNKED" is a perfect food for any dog with digestive issues. Our dogs have all had disgestive issues over the years and this Dog Food from Pedigree is the top choice. Others are full of seasonings and herbs that are upsetting to their stomachs where Pedigree is plain and simple like it's suppose to be. This canned food blended with the proper amount of the Adult Maintenance Pedigree kibble is a perfect diet for any dog with an upset tummy and will assist in keeping them healthy and happy. Our dogs are 100% Pedigree Dogs...and it's cheaper too than those other high price brands and just as good.
I'm the proud pet parent of a 6yo Chihuahua who is a very picky eater, so much so that he'll do without for 4-5 days. Several years ago I found a recipe online that he LOVES. After a head injury with concussion I find myself unable to prepare his food. I went through many different brands until I found this. Now,when I get out of the chair at 5 P.M. (feeding time) he is right there, almost with his muzzle in the bowl before I can empty the can. I've adopted a "step-sister for him. She's the same over this brand, although she's not quite as picky at 2 y.o..
I mix wet and dry Pedigree together and my dogs have very little medical problems. I have always used Pedigree only. One of my great dogs, Miss Bill, lived to the age of 15. I have a small inside/outside personal kennel. I did animal rescue as a hobby. I would meet animals on the streets of the inter city, take them to the vet for medical checkups (and of course spaying and neutering is a must!!!) My dogs are all seniors, just like me. They live a great life and I think the reason is quality food. So thank you, Pedigree.
My dogs love Chicken with Rice Choice Cut......there is a serious shortage of them in the Las Vegas area now. I also prefer Choice Cuts varieties rather than the chopped brands because they are easier for me to feed my dogs with my arthritis in my hands. Make plenty of that flavor and keep Las Vegas area loaded with that variety.
I usually mix wet and dry dog food for my babies so they can get better nutrition and they eat more. They absolutely love it, especially this kind. I wouldn't improve it other than maybe bigger cans of it. I would recommend to other pet owners. The big thing is, I'm not worried about them eating this dog food brand. 10/10
I use this only for upset stomach and I love that the pedigree wet food helps a lot with upset stomachs and doesn't, make them worse. My dogs adore this canned food when they aren't feeling their best. This brand helps get my dogs back up and running around in no time.
I like this for a transition food. My dog was super nervous when she first showed up at my place. She didnt want to eat and it had been days so I was getting worried. I went out and picked some of this up and in no time she was eating her food again.
After 2 years of trying to trick, bribe with treats my, and come head to head with my pup over having to eat dog food, today I hesitantly opened the stocked cupboard once again and pulled this out. She ate it!!! ALL of it! I am so proud and thankful for your scrumptious and nutritious wet dog food.
As far as texture and consistency go, its got a nice thick gravy and big chunks of meat. The quality is very low. I started buying this when money was tight and my dog gained noticeable weight after a week! He has had less energy too. You can tell its cheap and not the healthiest choice for your dog.
I bought this IN GRAVY CHOICE CUTS thinking my chihuahua and my fox terrier will eat and love it since they devore the NON-Gravy version and the dry food too. Well, they didn't even touch it, they prefer to starve than eat the IN GRAVY, and I don't blame them, looks horrible. I lost my money buying a whole case. The problem is that you don't find the non gravy anymore, probably pushing this version. Changing brands now, i hope they return to the other one soon.
