This product is best for type 2&3 haired girls (finer,curly,wavy hair). It also says this on the package which was a detail that I obviously missed. If you are a kinky coily girl (type4 hair), I'd say try to find a better product. With thicker tighter hair and hair coils this product will simply make your hair wet and nothing else. 4a girls don't have that wavy/spring like curl definition (at least not with shorter lengths; I have a twa). However, I would most definitely recommend this product to someone with finer hair. This product would work great on my daughters hair but didn't do much for me. Also, remember just to add a small amount to your entire head otherwise it can cause your hair to be extremely sticky. If you're not too careful you could end up with the product flaking in your hair from applying too much. A little goes a long way with this product. Hope this helps.
I think this product would work well on fine curly hair.... The curl cream works better on thick hair.
